Crema's Take

The Bagel Table is a convenient neighborhood spot near the Charles River where you can grab a solid breakfast sandwich or surprising finds like acai bowls and smoothies, though the bagels themselves are hit-or-miss and quality feels inconsistent. The cozy, family-friendly vibe and genuinely friendly staff make it a reliable place to settle in with your laptop or pop in before a riverside walk, though some visitors report frustratingly rude service depending on when you visit. It's the kind of place that works best when you catch them on a good day and stick to their breakfast sandwiches rather than expecting bagel perfection.

I have tried to find a redeemable food item from this place because it’s the most convenient spot to go when I’m working. But alas, it’s all subpar. The bagels are nothing to rave about. The mac and cheese is soupy and tasteless. And the sandwiches are just bagged lunches for $15+. Don’t bother to ask for it toasted because they just hand it back to you with cold meat and cheese inside that has barely been warmed let alone toasted. I’ll give it one additional star for being clean, but the food is not worth it.

I saw the smoothie sign in the window, so I came in to see what they had and then discovered they also have acai bowls!!! I got one and it was delicious!!! The base was perfect texture and you pick your toppings. Highly recommend!

The staff's attitude was extremely rude. When we were ordering, they looked impatient, and when we asked for drinks, they claimed they were out (even though the group before us had just ordered some). We paid for the most expensive deluxe combo, but they gave us bagel with salmon. Throughout the whole time, the server kept glaring at us with a condescending look—their discriminatory attitude was completely unacceptable.

Excellent bagels in a convenient location near the Charles River and several parks—perfect for grabbing a bite before a walk. The quality is consistently top-notch, and the staff are some of the friendliest and most helpful I’ve encountered at any bagel spot in Boston. Highly recommended for both locals and visitors. Nearby Kohi coffee is a fantastic, but cozy, coffee stop.

The Bagel Table is a great spot- the staff are so nice and it’s really cozy inside- as for the food I got the Bacon Egg and Cheese on an Everything Bagel and it was decent, i also got the the Full Table and the Sausage Egg & Cheese which I highly recommend..they are really good! In the end I would say the bagels are nothing special, but they do have a ton of options and the speciality breakfast sandwiches are worth getting ! The morning hours can also get busy..might be worth ordering ahead of time.. they could definitely staff a couple more people..
