Excellent food. Great coffee. I had high hopes but I was blown away by the price for quality and taste. Also the waffles are gluten free! Try the breakfast burrito AND (or) the chicken cheesesteak waffles. So so good.

Warm Flavors and Welcoming Spaces During my stop at Neighbors Café, I ordered a pumpkin spice latte with oat milk along with two dishes that felt like comfort and creativity on a plate: a sweet avocado toast and an apple chai waffle together for just over $22. The latte arrived with a soft foam and a warm autumn aroma that made the first sip instantly soothing. The oat milk added a gentle creaminess that blended smoothly with the pumpkin spice, creating a drink that felt balanced, cozy, and easy to savor. The sweet avocado toast was presented so beautifully it almost felt like something you’d hesitate to disturb. Smooth avocado was layered beneath fresh strawberries, all topped with a delicate drizzle of condensed milk that added just the right amount of sweetness. The apple chai waffle carried the same seasonal warmth. Crisp on the outside and tender inside, it was infused with chai spices and topped with apple, making every bite fragrant and comforting. The café itself felt especially inviting warm lighting, soft chatter, and a layout that made it easy to sink into your own world. It had that cozy, tucked-away atmosphere that makes studying feel less like work, which makes sense given how close it is to F&M. Whether you’re settling in with a laptop or just pausing between classes, it’s the kind of place where focus comes naturally. Walking out, I found myself reflecting on how Neighbors Café offers more than just food and coffee. It creates a sense of comfort and belonging.

Best café around! Nolan is awesome, he made me a campfire cocoa that was so good I made him a groomsmen in my wedding. It was the only appropriate reaction to such a delectable hot chocolate😋

I have walked around downtown Lancaster at least 100 times, and I never knew about this spot until just a few weeks ago. It is definitely worth stopping in – they don’t have a ton to offer, but what they have is unique and generally tasty. I enjoyed their black bean brownie – don’t let the name fool you, it is very flavorful and chocolatey in all the ways you would expect a soft, dense brownie to be. I was also impressed with their drink options; they have several made-to-order beverages from around the world, including sherbet and Horchata. This is a great place to stop in for a quick drink and an on-the-go snack. The space itself is open and well lit, so you could definitely sit for a while and enjoy the uncrowded atmosphere.

Neighbors cafe is a new cafe in Lancaster as of 2024. It is run by a few good guys that I got to chat with for a bit. Their coffee is good and I liked the warm atmosphere. I didn’t try any of their specialty drinks, just the drip coffee. Because the place is so long there are tons of window seats you can people watch from. Check it out!
