Cecile Bakery + Cafe
5744 Sunset Dr, South Miami, FL
Crema's Take
“This South Miami gem masters the art of European-style brunch with genuinely exceptional pastries—think buttery, crunchy croissants and their signature croffles (a croissant-waffle hybrid) that locals rave about as some of the best breakfast food they've ever had. Beyond the stellar baked goods, Cecile strikes that perfect balance between a fancier, clean atmosphere ideal for special occasions and a welcoming spot for casual coffee meetings, with thoughtfully executed eggs Benedict croissants, crisp fruit, and standout matcha tea that justify both the prices and the 4.6-star rating. It's the kind of place where every detail—from fluffy eggs to quality ingredients—clearly matters to the team.”

This is by far one of the best places to go have some clean European style brunch food in South Miami. The eggs are always fluffy. The croissants are buttery and crunchy. The fruit is crisp not bruised. The hand squeezed orange juice is delightful and the coffees are Parisian style and hits the we up spot. Always on that “we should go here” List when we go back home to Miami.
Last Saturday I visited Cecile Bakery for the first time. I ordered a coffee and a bag of chocolate chip cookies which were both good. However, customers with nut allergies like me would appreciate if you make it clearer in the bag that the cookies contain nuts as I only realized when I was home. In addition, I ordered a tiramisu that was rancid, the cream tasted complete sour. I didn’t complain at the time because I was with a friend but the admin should make sure that the deserts do not spend much time on the display case. Spending almost $9 for a desert that is not fresh is absurd.
Fantastic experience at Cecile’s Bakery Caffè! Excellent service, delicious eggs Benedict croissant, and the avocado BLT was unbelievable. Perfect matcha tea, good prices, and a very clean place. Highly recommend! ☕🥐✨
I loved our experience here! The food selections were so interesting and delicious. My mother in law had the croffle - a cross between croissant and waffle and it was delightful. It wasn’t too sweet with a hint of savory to it. I ordered the chilaquiles and it was also very tasty. I had forgotten to ask for my egg to be cooked well done and the server was kind enough to replace it for me. It’s those little things that I appreciate in food service. I absolutely loved it here and I can’t wait to come back.
A fancier atmosphere than we’re used to, but a great choice for our special breakfast on vacation. My Croffle (waffle croissant) was THE BEST breakfast food I’ve ever eaten. Prices were fare, service was excellent, and meal was delish!
