The Giving Pies

Crema's Take
“This cozy San Jose spot pairs exceptional handmade pies and savory quiches with inventive coffee drinks like their beloved cookie butter latte, creating the kind of place where the aroma alone feels like a warm embrace. The staff—Voahangy, Gio, and Ruby among them—genuinely make you feel welcome, and their mini pies with buttery crumble tops are sized perfectly for lingering over coffee with friends or diving into on a quick visit. Fair warning: their creative flavors (blueberry, peach, coconut cream, pecan) sell out fast on weekends, so arriving early rewards you with both pastry perfection and plenty of seating to settle in.”

I got a cookie butter latte with oatmilk and a bacon/cheese pie and it was absolutely delicious! Voahangy, Gio, and Ruby are all really helpful and make the atmosphere super welcoming! Lots of seating to do work and great music too. They even had these gorgeous plates and mug custom made. Thanks!
Pies are great. I wish they had more double crust pies instead of crumbles. Recommend their mini little tarts! The filling on those are super buttery. They sell out fast on the weekends so get their early. Coffee is okay but their fun lattes are a great sweet treat
My first thought on walking in was “This must be what heaven smells like.” The mini pies are a perfect individual size and are fantastic because they have crumble on top instead of the typical pie crust which can be so difficult to get right. Got the apple to test out a classic and loved it, friend got the pear almond and tbh they tasted pretty similar but eh. Cashier was very nice. Will be back, can only hope their savory pies taste as good as they look!
I ordered 4 mini pies - blueberry, peach, coconut cream, and pecan. They are delicious and unique with the right amount of sweetness. Even though I didn’t sit down, this cafe is very clean with good vibes. Parking can be challenging around lunch hour.
Small cozy place for pies and quiches. Had the mushroom bacon and spicy sausage quiches, good flavor but the crusts were not flaky, in fact the mushroom bacon quiche crust was overworked and hard to cut through. Tried the mini pies - peach, apple and lemon too. Peach was good. Lemon’s filling had great flavor, crust was hard but crunchy. Apple mini was great overall.
