Crema's Take

DeBeen Espresso is a cozy, laptop-friendly spot in Winston-Salem where the baristas will happily customize your order—they even created a "TJ Special" for a customer on the spot. Beyond their solid espresso foundations, they shine with creative specialty drinks like the Cinnamon Bun Latte and a particularly excellent London Fog, making it an ideal retreat for anyone looking to settle in with a quality beverage and some peaceful time to themselves.

I asked if they could do a Dubai Matcha or Latte and call it the TJ Special - they said they could!! I had a London Fog and Cinnamon Bun Latte both with Almond milk hot with a cup of ice because I can never decide on iced or hot so I always get a cup of ice and order hot to have both (because why not, life is short and do what you want) and a bunch of vegan snacks for my daughter Alaysia. Customer Service was great. It was a relaxed atmosphere... they have matchas also... and Gelato!!!! Dog friendly and wheelchair accessible!!

For how hard it was to find parking here I wish this was a drive thru especially for how awful everything was. I got an everything bagel it was hard and rubbery one of the worst bagels I’ve ever had I threw it away, and the banana bread latte is probably the worst drink I’ve ever had if I wanted something that tasted like a laffy taffy and watered down espresso I would have made one myself. For what it was this costed too much. The service was lackluster some rude blonde lady was extremely off putting. Wish I hadn’t have gone guess I’m just gonna stick with Dunkin. :(

this is a coffee shop that excels in ambience. if you want a place with a comfy spot to sit down and read or work with a beverage in hand. now if you care about how the beverage tastes that's another story. the coffee is good, but not great. granted i went in one time and ordered an iced americano. if you dont care about the quality of espresso extraction, im sure their sweeter drinks mask the espresso well, but if you do care, i'd walk a couple blocks over to krankie's!

Great selection of drinks. The people working there were really nice. Bathrooms are clean and infividual rooms (bonus). I ordered a London Fog (excellent) and grabbed a wrapped Everything bagel to go. The bagel went in the garbage. It was rubbery and hard to chew and it tasty perfumy like incense or Fabuloso.
