Crema's Take

This beloved neighborhood spot has earned serious devotion for its oversized donuts and cinnamon rolls that live up to the hype, with reviewers raving about the perfect frosting-to-dough ratio and portions generous enough to feed a crowd. The bagels here hold their own against East Coast standards, and the full breakfast menu makes it an easy family gathering place where everyone from teenagers to post-surgery recovery patients finds something to love. It's the kind of locally-owned spot that turns first-time visitors into regulars who keep coming back.

I visited this shop for the first time today and it was spectacular! This was hands down the biggest donut I have ever seen. It was, no joke, the size of my face! The donut itself was delicious and I was left with half to bring home and enjoy later. Can't wait to go back and try their pasties, as someone from the UP!

As an east coast bagel aficionado, I was admittedly skeptical that a Salt Lake City bagel would be anywhere close to the texture and flavors of my high standards. Salt Lake City bagels are a little more dough and not as crunchy as my east coast experiences, but the everything bagel that I had with my sandwich was very very good! Dough Miners delivered! I decided to try two different items for breakfast, well, I originally was going to just get the “Grumpy Morning Miner” because I was intrigued by the pepper bacon and garlic aioli, but then I accidentally glanced to my left and saw the unreal doughnut selections. Holy cow, the doughnuts were huge and fresh and a variety of flavors. I settled on the massive 5.5” diameter beast called “Chocolate Tantrum” and it was one of the best doughnuts I’ve ever had. Any place that covers the tiny doughnut hole with another little doughnut ball, genius. Such a great find. Would highly recommend. Staff is super friendly and patient as I took in the small but robust menu. Last, Even though I’m not a vegan, I thought it was great they had a vegan pastry option!

I’m obsessed with the donuts and cinnamon rolls at Dough Minor. We brought a dozen home for my son and his friends, and the teenagers all loved them! They have the perfect amount of frosting and cinnamon. I also tried the Miner’s Breakfast Pasty, and it was amazing! The portions are large and hearty, and you can tell everything is made fresh. I live an hour away, but I’m thinking of reasons why I need to drive up to Salt Lake so I can eat breakfast there!

Tried Dough Miner for the first time today and we are hooked! The pasties and doughnuts are “utmost delectable” as my 15-yr old son said after eating them. Will definitely be coming back anytime we’re in SLC!

I was in Salt Lake City to have some surgery and my husband and I were looking for a locally owned place that we could go and get breakfast or Donuts. When we walked into this, we were walking by a very kind gentleman and offered. If we needed any help with the menu he was there to help us and that we could order whenever we were. When we were looking up the website and saw the donuts, we were unaware that the donuts were literally as big as our heads. The taste was amazing. They were very fresh. You could tell the ingredients that they were made with was fresh and they offered a very good variety. We also did get one of the bagels and split those for breakfast and I would definitely say that if you normally eat a bagel on your own that you would have trouble finishing a half of one of these as they are that big and they have a lot of stuff on them. We continue to look around and found that they offer little novelty items such as barbecue sauce, mustard and things like that that come in cute little bottles. We will definitely go back there again if we return to the area as it was definitely worth the 15-minute drive from our hotel room.
