Crema's Take
“Saigon Coffee & Sandwiches feels like a carefully curated corner of Saigon transplanted to Jacksonville, where hand-crafted bánh mì with homemade pate and bread share equal billing with stellar specialty drinks like their silky Iced Coconut Coffee. The space is clean and inviting with thoughtful décor, making it equally comfortable for a quick caffeine grab or a lingering conversation, and the owners Tam and Del run the operation with genuine warmth and remarkable attention to detail, whether you're ordering for yourself or coordinating a catering event.”

The staff was very friendly and nice, and the restaurant was clean and spacious. However, the food wasn’t that great. We ordered two different banh mi, but they tasted the same and were quite bland, and we couldn’t tell the difference in flavor. Also, there wasn’t enough meat. I would rather pay more to get more meat.
I used them on a recent catering for work and everything was seamless. From choosing items off the menu to a friendly budget with quick replies, Tam was very easy to work with. Her and her husband delivered it to us on time and kept communication thorough through the entire process. Food was fresh, abundant and delicious!
They have the best bahn mi in town with homemade pate and bread. The BBQ beef bahn mi is amazing with fresh veggies on top. Staff is friendly, store is beautifully decorated and clean. I absolutely love the Vietnamese Coffee to get a quick coffee fix. Any of the sandwiches are fabulous and the pho is fresh and delicious. This is a must try!!
I recently visited this hidden gem (October 2025) and I’m glad I did! The food was absolutely delicious, and I can’t wait to go back. I tried the Iced Coconut Coffee, which was simply heavenly. They use espresso and coconut cream from a can, so it tastes so authentic. ( not overly sweet) The Fresh Spring Rolls were only $2.50 each! They were so fresh and tasty. I also got the Banh Mi - Saigon Special, which is a pork roll sandwich with steamed pork, jambon, pate, mayonnaise, cucumber, pickles, and cilantro. They use freshly baked bread, which makes all the difference. They have pho noodles and other Vietnamese dishes too. It’s a great place to study, work, or hang out with friends. If you’re looking for a new place to try, definitely check it out!
So good! I love Bahn mi and this will definitely be a go to location for me. I knew as soon as I took a bite that the bread was made in house. It was crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. It had nice filling, I was pleasantly surprised they add the pate to the char siu sandwich. The fish Bahn mi is also really good. The Vietnamese coffee was also great, it had a nice strong coffee taste. I loved the quiet and warm atmosphere as well as how clean it was. The service was also wonderful, I appreciate for the to go orders they put the veggies on the side so you can toast the bread at home.
