Crema's Take

This beloved Jacksonville institution feels like stepping into your neighborhood's living room, where the owner John knows regulars by name and genuine conversation flows as freely as the coffee. The straightforward menu delivers satisfying sandwiches and light fare at honest prices, but what keeps people coming back is the unhurried, welcoming atmosphere that makes it perfect for either a quick caffeine hit or lingering over a cup while catching up with friends. It's the kind of old-school spot that reminds you why local coffee shops matter—they're about community as much as they are about what's in your cup.

Old school style, great access, friendly service and tasty food at a reasonable price.

This is exactly the kind of local home grown spot that Jacksonville is known for. Simple good food, good people, good enviornment. Anything on the menu is good, or just come in for a cup of coffee.

Arrived an hour before closing. First time ever going and I picked them out of everyone else. Arrive to 2 guys drinking in the dining room and the doors locked. Great first impression. Won't be back unfortunately.

The food is pretty much what you would expect from an older sandwich shop. You get what you order, no surprises...EXCEPT the prices of the food are about twice as much as you have advertised on line, even to order from Uber, which should be the most up to date! Very disappointing, seems kind of lazy or maybe just misleading?! Service personel/owner is very friendly l must say so that's nice.

Loved it. I've been looking for a place that makes me feel like I'm back home. It seemed most all of the customers knew each other, and John made conversation with them, and me. Pastrami and egg pita was good! Hashbrowns were cooked well and could easily be covered with lots of ketchup because of the pump dispenser. Gyro had lots of meat and the meat is tasty. The taziki sauce was plenty but it wasn't strong tasting. Missing some dill and cucumber taste
