Tutta Bella
1100 Virginia St, Seattle, WA
Crema's Take
“This Seattle spot captures the relaxed Italian trattoria vibe with a genuine neighborhood feel, where you can linger over traditional pasta and pizza while the bartender works the room with real warmth. The kitchen shines with fresh, straightforward Italian cooking—crispy fried calamari, properly executed prosciutto and arugula pizza, and house-made cannoli—making it a comfortable choice for solo travelers, families, or lazy weeknight dinners when you want authentic food without pretense.”

I used to be a regular here for the gnocchi and tiramisu, but after two major incidents, I will never return. If you want your sanity stay away from this place. The decline in both food quality and basic respect is shocking. First, I was charged $22 for gnocchi, only to be told at pickup that they had swapped it for rigatoni without my consent. I let it go since I thought mishaps happen. Also, as other reviewers have called out the portion size is not worth the amount. Today was the final straw: I paid over $16 for a tiramisu that was barely 1/3 of the usual size. When I politely questioned the portion, the server responded in a threatening tone, telling me to "take it up with the manager." The manager’s "solution" was to offer a 50% refund (for 30% of the food), citing "container issues." To make matters worse, that refund never even hit my card. Between the rude staff, the long waits in an empty restaurant, and the "bait-and-switch" pricing, this place has become a total rip-off. Save your money and your evening—go elsewhere.
I have come here several times when I was lazy to cook.. I enjoyed my dinner before i move away from neighborhood. I ordered fried calamari (almost every time..), spaghetti, cannoli and Italian soda (almost every time..). The food is so good and served quickly. The service is great too. I also like the lighting and atmosphere at night.
Great pizza! I had prosciutto and arugula, which was great. Very fresh, perfectly cooked. I was just traveling by myself and sat at the bar. Bartender was awesome. I could see firsthand he was overworked. So if your drinks are delayed, not his fault. He was nonstop doing his best. Either way - highly recommended.
I'd like to give a shout out to Tutta Bella in this specific location in Seattle. This has been one of our favorite restaurants over the years, and with the exception of one experience they have always delivered. In our most recent experience in September of 2025, we can see that the staff has worked diligently and intentionally to make the experience for every diner amazing from welcome to dessert. The ambience of this location on Virginia Street is unique, excellent, and when their primary staff is on site.. you and your guests will have nothing but a great experience. We recommend Tutta Bella for everything from Italian cuisine to your favorite pizzas. Don't miss out on their desserts. And, their mixologists are spot on for specialty drinks (both alcohol free or enhanced...and offering a great wine selection). Enjoy their hospitality while you experience amazing!
The restaurant is nice. We ordered a lasagna and a vegetarian pasta. The food tasted good; however, the vegetarian pasta had a lot of large pieces of onion, which made it unpleasant to eat. The potatoes we ordered as a starter deserve a mention because they were delicious! As for the drinks, the Aperol Spritz and the wine were good.
