Crema's Take

Folklores Coffee House is a hidden gem that feels like a cozy living room, complete with a charming cheese counter and occasional merchandise that make it feel more like visiting a friend's creative space than a typical café. Their signature drinks are genuinely inventive—think an iced Cuban that tastes like a churro in a cup—and the staff, particularly Jaime, take real care in matching each person to their perfect drink based on what they love. It's the kind of warmly run local spot where you can linger, enjoy excellent coffee, and support something that clearly matters to the people behind the counter.

Sooo cute, friendly staff, and really good drinks! I got the nutshell and it was amazing. It’s super cozy and they even sell some cool stickers, sometimes merch, + there’s a mini cheese stand inside. Update: 7 months later and this is still my favorite spot. Chill is the best barista and such a kind, awesome person. I love the music and how they’re always rearranging something and moving stuff around. There’s games to play and a little bit of outdoor seating. My go to is a cappuccino because the grounds here are so good. Sometimes Chill will mix in some honey and vanilla which is super yum. Sometimes they even have shots/add ins of certain mushrooms, I personally like the Chaga. They also serve local pastries. They also will sometimes do things for the community, ex: taking donations when the floods happened. Even if you are not punk or goth, definitely come by, but if you are then this is definitely the spot for you.

Small coffee shop with a cheese counter up front. My iced Cuban B was so delicious - like a churro in a coffee. The cortado was also good. Appreciated the kind, down-to-earth vibe of the shop and their very creative menu offerings.

We found this jewel while driving the backroads home. Great place, somewhat hidden. It feels very homey. The Coffee is great. We will be back for sure!

First time trying this coffee shop and Jaime was very patient and even recommended some drinks based off our preference. Definitely recommend this place and ask for Jaime he’ll guide you on which flavors to try. We got the Krumpas and Gremlin.
