Crema's Take

Ria's Bistro is a quietly charming lunch destination in downtown Albany where the real draw is the generously-stuffed sandwiches (their in-house Roast Beef is a standout) and rotating specials like their legendary chicken tacos that deserve permanent menu status. The café rewards those who seek it out with quality ingredients, fair prices, and genuinely friendly service, plus more comfortable seating than you'd expect in a neighborhood spot that thrives more on word-of-mouth than online presence. It's the kind of place worth planning a weekend visit around if you're in the area—expect to linger over coffee with locals who clearly know what they're doing.

Nice spot for lunch, friendly staff, and good food. The area doesn't have much foot traffic, but they're open on weekends and worth stopping in.

I was really looking forward to a different sandwich 🥪 shop while in the area but they were closed. We found this based off Google maps. It was good, with quality ingredients and very fairly priced. It wasn't my absolute favorite but it was very good and clean. I'd eat here again on a weekend

The chicken taco hot special was absolutely out of this world! So sad I didnt get a picture. This is my petition for them to become a permanent menu item. This spot is cozy and the everyday menu and rotating soups are very good too. Would 100% recommend finishing the meal with a cookie.

I got the in-house Roast Beef and it was great! They pack a ton in. There was more seating than I expected and a lot of it is very comfy!

A popular lunch spot in the downtown Albany area. They don't have a real website, you have to go through Facebook. They had a full patio when I went on a Friday afternoon. Friendly service and the line wasn't too bad, it doesn't hurt to call ahead. I got the Rias Hot Sandwich, the chicken was delicious, great marinade! I'm eager to go back and try more of their menu items.
