Crema's Take

This members-only Georgetown institution wraps you in old-world charm with genuinely warm service and a carefully curated selection of spirits that matches its classic aesthetic. The kitchen turns out surprisingly solid comfort fare—think burger nights and proper pork chops—that pairs perfectly with the relaxed, unhurried atmosphere that makes it feel less like a dining hall and more like stepping into a literary club from another era. It's the kind of place where regulars linger over drinks and conversation, where the staff remembers you, and where the carefully maintained Old Town character actually feels authentic rather than manufactured.

Extraordinary warmth and great service. Very relaxed. At Christmas, it felt like a set for the Nutcracker!

I have not actually been in The Georgetown Club. However, it appears to be cozy and quaint by it's outside appearance.

I have been as a guest two times and I absolutely loved it. The food was fantastic. One night I went on a Wednesday for burger night. Another night I went on a Saturday night and had the pork chop and it was one of the best pork chops I’ve had. I found the weight staff to be, lovely and helpful and knowledgeable. They have a good wine list and the prices are reasonable. I look forward to being invited back.

Private venue. Not open to the public. Food is great, staff are better. Very nice selection of liquor and wine. Facilities are nice and maintain the Old Town feel of Georgetown.

I am saddened how the club has turned out. They stripped the history away and turned it into another generic dining hall. There is no dress code enforced, and there were people in T-shirts and jeans. The respectability and honour of the club has been stripped away. I wish I had not returned after a decade away as the memory of what was better than knowing what is now.
