Great sandwich stop off the beaten path! The Hy-line Ferry Cruiser was amazing--so much meat, fresh veg, and tasty bread. If I lived closer, I'd be a regular for sure.

Taste was exploding with flavor and had a unique dynamic of flavors which all complemented each other. Being a small deli and conformed to a nook in the corner of a spot, it is an interesting place. Immediately you are greeted with seating and the menu and beyond that you find the spot to place an order while drinks, pastries and other delicacies, displaying the array of goods. There are views into the entire kitchen space to observe any processes of the food-making, yet they make boundaries very clear for customers to acknowledge. With the sample of a single item, the price is affordable yet would eventually run you out of any savings due to the immense amount of customization and fresh delicacies calling you back for more. Interactions here feel homey and comfortable, naturalized monotone voice from the presumed owner is presumed to be because she runs the place like a ship and makes sure everyone is accounted for, while keeping herself and the staff working like a well oiled machine. Overall, I would recommend Ocean Street Cafe & Deli to anyone interested in a new place to order from while looking for somewhere with immense potential to adapt into a larger space. Though, it should be mentioned that around lunch time, 11am-2pm, it does get busy with local school kids and local medical professionals.

I brought my mother, sisters & son here for lunch because they have never been and I have and absolutely love their sandwiches. The food was delicious as always. 😋 The staff are friendly and pleasant 😊 I ordered a bowl of clam chowder and it was sooo delicious. I also ordered a build your own sandwich & washed it down with a nice cold pineapple soda. Thank you!!!

Don't sleep on this place! The inside may not look like much but the food is outstanding! And this is evidenced by the constant flow of patrons in and out during our short lunch here. It's clear this is a neighborhood favorite and I highly encourage you to experience the magic for yourself.

Delicious food!!! The sandwiches were stuffed and super flavorful plus they come with chips and a pickle! Very nice staff and the food was quick to come out. Chowder was good too.
