Messenger Coffee

just had my second visit to this spot, and it's amazing! breakfast sandwich was great, and the coffee was delicious. there is very limited indoor seating, which is something to keep in mind when planning your visit, especially if it's cold out!

This coffee shop used to be my favorite. Baristas had a real passion for it. Now the experience feels frustrating. Service moves painfully slowly. About 15 minutes per customer just to pay, and the line barely moved. I also ran into a big issue with ingredient knowledge. I have lactose intolerance, so I asked if I could eat any pastry. A staff member told me, “Everything has butter,” then repeated, “There is butter everywhere,” even after I asked to check the ingredients book. Later, I spoke with the pastry chef and learned the banana bread is dairy-free. Please keep the ingredients book available and train staff to answer ingredient questions accurately, especially for customers with dietary restrictions. One more thing: please ask if someone wants a ceramic mug instead of deciding for them. It takes a second and it makes the experience feel more thoughtful. Will not come back!

I would have liked to give this place five stars but they had no hot food available due to a broken oven. Their coffee was OK., there’s almost no space to sit on the inside or outside, but it is located within the country club Plaza area, which makes it great if you wanna just grab a coffee and walk around

Great little spot for an excellent coffee and breakfast. Team working was very friendly and did a great job with the food. Coffee was just the perfect temperature.
