Light Heart Coffee

Crema's Take
“Light Heart Coffee strikes a lovely balance between casual comfort and creative drinks, with their berry matcha earning genuine devotion from regulars who praise its vibrant, fruity complexity. The space itself is clean and welcoming, drawing a steady crowd of friends and remote workers who appreciate the unhurried vibe, though the experience really hinges on catching staff on a good day—when they're at their best, the warmth and quality drinks make it feel like a genuine neighborhood spot worth returning to.”

the matcha is okay, nothing to rave or die over. the shop itself is cute and simple, very clean and neat. my negative experience mostly comes from the staff they’re not welcoming whatsoever. the line was forming in the wrong area of the building and the staff advised us to move the line elsewhere, which should be displayed with a sign to help best direct guests to avoid awkward interactions like that. after picking up my drink, i thanked the baristas and no one even made eye contact with me or said you’re welcome or have a good day (mind you, they’re not busy in person so no excuse that they’re “busy”). very off putting vibe from everyone. 🤔
every employee is so nice and welcoming! and the delicious drinks are a bonus too!! the berry matcha is truly one of the best i’ve ever had! ❤️
The ambience walking in the door was the normal white, nondescript painted, catering to the upper middle class, coffee shop. There's nothing that sets it apart. The barista was kind and welcoming. They have their menu on the wall behind them, but we had to wait to see the specialty crafted coffees. I don't think it's smart business to have only the ONE special coffee menu at the front ordering space. Some of us like to take our time, reading all the flavors, discussing what we want, changing our minds, and just taking our time with the choices. But having that menu only at the front takes away from that delight, and you could feel rushed, like, "HURRY UP AND CHOOSE, LOOK AT THE LINE BEHIND YOU!!!" 😫😫😫. I ordered the SnowBird, which is "brown buttery toffee coffee, with chocolate walls, and flaky salt". The anticipation was set. I took that first sip and.....😐. The second sip was- 🤨🤔. There was NO toffee taste at all, let alone butter, chocolate, OR salt. NADA. It just tasted like coffee with maybe a little can't tell what it is, creamer. POST EDIT: I forgot to say that I could FINALLY taste the faint taste of sugary butter at the bottom of the drink, the last few sips. The pastry, a fig "pop tart", on the other hand, was sooooo delightful. A small step down from the amount of brown sugar would knock it outta the park! Someone once said, "When someone shows their true colors, BELIEVE them the first time." From the disappointment of the coffee, I'll take that advice; and I won't be going back, neither recommending such coffee with no GLOW. Nice try tho, good job! A note to the business owner, print out more specialty menus for the people waiting in line. 😊
Really good drinks, service and vibes! My friends and I stopped by for some coffees and matcha drinks midday and they were really good. We tried a bunch of different flavors and everyone loved their drink. The drinks were on the more expensive side but nothing crazy compared to the cost of other coffee places right now. They actually whisk your matcha for your individual drink, it’s not batched or a mix. The cashier was super nice. She was very patient, answered questions and gave great suggestions. Our drinks came out pretty fast, especially as they were mixing the matcha and just making things fresh. They called out our names fairly loud so you could hear it. The place itself is very trendy and clean. If I’m ever back in Arizona and in the area, I’d probably come by here again. Overall, I would recommend this place.
Absolutely amazing. The coffee tasted like heaven—smooth, rich, and incredibly well balanced. I especially loved the berry-cobbler flavor; it had a bright, fruity note that made every sip memorable. It wasn’t sweet or overpowering, just perfectly crafted and wonderfully enjoyable from start to finish.
