Pachamama Coffee Cooperative
2820 R St, Sacramento, CA
Crema's Take
“Pachamama Coffee Cooperative roasts its own beans and excels at espresso and pour-overs, with a shaded patio perfect for lingering over a cup and pastries. The cooperative model gives it genuine community character, though service can be inconsistent depending on who's behind the counter. With ample parking and a welcoming vibe when the staff is on, it's a solid neighborhood spot for quality coffee and a slower pace.”

The service gets one star rude mean girls work there. They look at you like “excuse me we are talking why are you bothering us at our place of work” when you’re waiting to order. Love the co op though !! I would have preferred to speak to a supervisor but there was not anyone of authority on site. This was on Thursday 2/19/2026 at 930am please getter better staff than the ones working this date and time.the CO OP deserves better than this.
They have some unbelievably. Irrational employees. Not all of them obviously, but there is a couple who are just reluctant of treating regular customers regular paying customers with any bit of grace and or understanding how regular customers are the ones. You should be taken care of which they don't do. I never ask for any special treatment. And it's not disservice, it's the irrational way of Pettiness , gallons of left over coffee these people pour out at the end of the day and they will stiff you for an extra ounce of coffee (a regular paying customer) some of these employees definitely dont understand customer retention or have any business sense.
Needed a pick-me-up before grocery shopping. Great espresso. Pastries looked good too. Extremely friendly counter staff. Cute shaded patio outside. I'll be back for one of those chocolate cheese muffins!
Inside co-cop Plenty of parking. Great tasting of coffee, I love hot drink but their slow drip cold coffee looked good. Great taste own roasting coffee!
Coffee was hot and we enjoyed the taste although we do like a darker roast. Was nice to have the oat meal option to ad into our coffee. Staff were friendly and the treats looked good although we did not try them. There cold brew is cool the way it is made and I imagine it tastes quite yummy!
