Crema's Take
“FifthSip brings Vietnamese coffee traditions to Manhattan with creative flair, earning serious praise for their signature Hanoi Egg coffee—a drink that's somehow both decadent and ethereal with complex, layered flavors. Beyond the classics, they're experimenting boldly with unexpected combinations like Toasted Sesame and Coco Americano (iced americano with fresh coconut water), paired with a genuinely chill atmosphere and friendly staff that make even non-coffee devotees feel welcome. It's a small, intimate spot that rewards curiosity, though portions are dainty and prices lean premium.”
What to expect
Strong matcha and tea selection, with creative signature drinks, good cold brew. Slow-sit spot.

Having spent a few years in New Orleans, I love Vietnamese coffee. I think Fifthsip does a great job with their creative yet authentic array of menu items. If you haven’t tried the Hanoi Egg, it’s one of my favorites - don’t let the coffee+egg combo scare you off - and it’s not…
A small coffee shop with unique selection like Toasted Sesame and Coco Americano which is iced americano with fresh coconut water. There is limited indoor seating, coffee beans to go, and small selection of merch. Staffs were friendly and the coffee is strong and delicious.

I am sorry I was not a fan of this $9 teeny tiny latte… Sesame cold foam was fine. It kinda tasted like nothing? And weird texture. There was like 4 sips of coffee below that, and thankfully I asked for less sweet because I can only imagine how overpowered by tastebuds would be…
