Crema's Take
“Tucked into Malibu, this independent gem shines brightest for its warm, genuine hospitality—reviewers rave about staff members like Colleen who bring real enthusiasm and thoughtful food recommendations to every visit. Beyond the coffee, their brunch menu stands out with craveable combinations like crispy fried chicken waffles with a sweet-salty syrup and perfectly cooked corned beef hash, all arriving quickly from an accommodating kitchen. With ample free parking and a welcoming local vibe, it's the kind of spot where both the coffee and the people make you want to linger.”

I had a Mocha Latte and the Dark Chocolate pancakes, and it was great. The food was delivered within minutes, and our waiter was very accomodationg to our tastes. The order was perfect.
The food was great, but the highlight of our visit was Colleen. She was incredibly energetic, positive, and genuinely kind, and her food recommendations were excellent. She truly made our experience memorable. Highly recommend.🌸
Marmalade Cafe is a great local restaurant in the Malibu area. There is a large free parking lot, so no worries finding a spot. The Marmalade Cafe has a great local establishment that amplifies the Malibu beach vibe. The menu will amaze you with all the choices but I would recommend you get the cafe burger. This burger is one of the largest in the region. The staff is courteous, attentive and responsive which adds to the dining experience. Marmalade Cafe is geared for dining alone, or on a date.
We had the waffle with fried chicken in a “syrup sauce”. It was very nice and it had this southern hint of sweet and salty taste. The chicken was juicy and tender but the sauce was very sweet. Altogether was a good experience as they have a wide menu. The chocolate chip cookie was great as well.
We arrived right about noon on Sunday and there was no wait. Great hostess, great server, and great food. I had the corned beef hash with 3 poached eggs, homemade hash browns with peppers and onion, and sourdough bread. It was perfect and one of the best corned beef hash and eggs I have had. I was recommended to go their and it did not disappoint. My wife and daughters loved their food also (cheeseburger and fries and cheese toasty with tomato bisque soup).
