Tandem Coffee Roasters

Hands down, the best coffee shop experience I've ever had. We went a few times last week while in Portland and this will be our go-to coffee shop in the future! The employees greeted us every time we came in and are genuinely engaged with the customers. The coffee/drinks are delicious and they have a great selection to choose from. Plenty of room to sit and enjoy your coffee while listening to good music and feeling welcomed. They also sell records, whole bean coffee, merch (shirts, hats, reusable mugs, etc). We'll be back!

I’m on a road trip and stopped in here for morning coffee. This is a sweet place. Very cozy and friendly. Good offerings. The staff was knowledgeable and engaged. I bought some ground coffee to take with me.

I wish I could give them over 5 stars! I came in asking about what coffee beans to buy and the worker was so knowledgeable and shared indepth info about recommendations for what type of coffee I like! The staff was so friendly, had attention to detail, and the cappuccino was incredible! I will be ordering beans online in the future since I’m from out of town! Stepped into the roasters and they were also so sweet! A must to visit if you’re in Portland!

I ended up coming here three days in a row while traveling. The baristas were genuinely warm, kind, and attentive, and it was clear how much joy they brought to both regulars and new visitors alike. The food and espresso were exceptional—every single thing I tried impressed me (my favorite: kimchi cheddar scone). On top of that, the space itself is cozy and full of charm. Absolutely worth a stop!

Great coffee! We got the Stoker dark roast and the flavor is exactly as described. We’re not from Portland so we’ll be ordering more online. Online order delivered quickly. Looking forward to trying all the flavors in the sample pack.
