Crema's Take
“Tucked inside an office complex, this welcoming spot surprises visitors with genuinely excellent sandwiches and coffee that punches well above what you'd expect from a hidden gem. The owner and their daughter lead a warm, efficient team who treat regulars and first-timers alike with real kindness, making it equally perfect for a quick coffee grab or a lingering lunch where you actually want to stay. The playful Viking theme and loyal following speak to how this place has carved out something special—quality food and genuine hospitality in a space most people drive right past.”

This is my wife's & I's favorite little hidden gem. We try to come here as much as we can. The owner, his daughter & all the staff are very kind & always welcoming! We get the breakfast sandwich on a bagel & on a croissant & its delicious EVERYTIME. All the baked goods are fresh & delicious as well! If yoy go trust the owner when he says to get a coffee the chefs way! 10/10 would absolutely recommend!
Stopped in around 1pm for lunch and this place was awesome! The Viking theme is super cool, and I was honestly surprised by how good the BLT was — fresh, flavorful, and definitely worth getting again. They also have a great selection of different beans and other local/light items for sale. The Viking-themed menu is really fun, the pastries were super fresh, and everything was very affordable. Highly recommend! No espresso machine yet, but they have cold brew and hot coffee which were both good and good selection of fountain drinks and bottled beverages
I have had an amazing experience and one of the best sandwiches of my life. This hidden gem is easily one of my new favorite places to visit. The staff met me with a smile and provided exceptional prompt professional service. Rich and Lucinda Olson thoroughly answered my questions and described the coffee and custom cups available. My handcrafted sandwich was prepared quickly. The sourdough bread had a crisp buttery exterior while keeping the softness of the interior. My BLT had the perfect balance of ingredients. I look forward to visiting again soon to try other items on the menu.
Just inside this office complex is room 104, with a little sign warning you the Island Cafe is inside. The ordering area is small, but there is a reasonably sized dining area once you've finished ordering. The chef is engaging and pleasant, the staff friendly, and the music well-chosen. Why did I wait until a second paragraph to mention the food? Because it deserves it's own paragraph! The bread is thick and toasted to request. The contents of the sandwiches and subs are generous. The specials are engaging, and the coffee is top-notch. While this is a cafe and not a delicatessen, the desserts are also very tasty. The sides on offer are all either made in-house or carefully curated for both quality and community impact. I strongly suggest eating here if you're nearby for lunch. I know I will, again!
Come raid and pillage the best coffee and food in the area! The staff are very pleasant and very efficient, made me an amazing roast beef sandwich. Top tier quality. The owners are some of the most amazing people you would ever hope to meet. Very understanding and accommodating. Can’t wait to come back!!
