Crema's Take
“Tucked next to Best Buy at Village Crossing in Skokie, C3 Coffee Bar is winning over longtime Starbucks loyalists with genuinely smooth, balanced espresso drinks that skip the bitterness—a refreshing change for those tired of chain coffee. Beyond their core espresso excellence, they've built a creative playground of signature drinks including homemade Red Bull mixes, seasonal specials, and matcha options, all served in a welcoming spot with both cozy indoor seating and a covered outdoor area that makes lingering feel natural.”

I only wish I tried this place much sooner. Their espresso Drinks are so smooth. I find Starbucks and the other chains to have very bitter coffee. Can’t wait to come back a lot more often. Friendly service, which is always pleasant and inviting. They even offered to warm up the banana bread, which has a gazillion tiny chocolate chips – just delicious.
This is a cute little coffee spot located next to the Best Buy at the Village Crossing outdoor mall in Niles. They have a small inside area and an enclosed outdoor seating area. We opted to sit outside. I initially ordered a drink that was like a chunky monkey (chocolate and banana). They had several drinks on their menu that had banana in them (and as evidenced on their new menu, there are no bananas anywhere on it). After I ordered it and ordered something to eat, they came outside and told me that they didn't have the banana syrup and have been out for a while. Okay, if you're out of something for a while, you should really update your menus or at least cross out the missing items so customers don't order it. This left me flummoxed as I didn't know what I wanted to order and even though no one was there, I felt rushed to order something different. I settled on a caramel macchiato and a chocolate croissant. Both were very good. And I'm glad they have altered their menu to reflect the fact that the banana syrup is no longer an option. I'll have to check back in and try a seasonal special treat and grab a different, new drink.
Don't have to run to inner Chicago to get great coffee any longer. C3 has a wide variety of coffees, matcha, lemonades, Red Bull mixes including their own home-made mixes. They also make their coffee syrups. Coffee is great and they have a Seasonal Menu which is really really good. Tried a few Seasonal drinks and loved them. They also have pastries and croissants whice are delicious. Now, they started making Paninis. outdoor seating is great, especially during warmer weather. Really cool inside vibe. Highly recommend.
I got a matcha and my friend got a mocha (don’t know why it’s so orange in the picture). The matcha was okay, it was pretty grainy and flavorless/watery, so would not get it next time. It was $6.99 for a medium so kinda pricy :( some seating indoors and outdoors, although it’s a little tight. Did not see many outlets
Love their Red Bull based drinks! Tried one of those as well as their Spanish latte. Definitely coming back to try other drinks. I love how they have a seasonal drink option as well.
