I LOVE this place! I feel at home and like a part of the family when I’m there. Coffee is excellent - BEWARE: you will be *extremely* productive for the rest of the day when you sip on their coffee. This is authentic, have not had coffee this good since I tried café cubano in Florida for the first time. The sandwiches - fully made from scratch. I feel transported back to the Caribbean. The entire experience from coming into the shop to leaving with my coffee and sandwich in hand is so warm. Greeted with love, everything is made with love, and it’s one of my favourite neighborhood staples. Give them a visit! They’ll make your day ❤️

This place is an easy 10/10 and an absolute must visit. I ordered La Dorna, and it was hands-down one of the best coffee drinks I’ve had—perfectly balanced, rich, smooth, and thoughtfully crafted. You can tell immediately that care and intention go into every cup. This isn’t just coffee; it’s an experience. I also had the Biscoff cookie, and I don’t say this lightly: it’s the best cookie I’ve ever had at a coffee shop. Soft, flavorful, indulgent, and paired perfectly with the coffee. It alone is worth the stop. The menu is simple but deliberate, the vibe is warm and welcoming, and everything—from the drinks to the baked goods—feels purposeful and done right. This is the kind of spot you remember and go out of your way to return to. Clear verdict: ⭐ 10/10 ☕ Outstanding coffee 🍪 Unmatched cookie 📍 A must-visit spot If you appreciate great coffee and exceptional execution, The Thread – CAFECITO needs to be on your list.

This place is not to be missed. We sadly walked past it our first day in a hurry to an appointment, but then we stopped our second day. We are absolutely blown away by this adorable spot, with the most incredible staff, decorations on point for the season, books and gifts for sale. We came in for the Cuban coffee and stayed for the atmosphere. Tiffany and Jayda spoiled us with the best cookies and coffee we have ever had. We cannot wait to come back here. This will be our first stop every time we visit Phoenix from here on out, no questions asked.

As a Pacific Northwest coffee snob, and former South Florida resident that loved Cuban cuisine, this place checks all my boxes. The staff were extremely friendly. They have a small menu, which translates to quality and consistency for their output. The Cubano was fantastic, and the Cuban coffee latte brought me back to South Florida. Skip the coffee shops using the manufacturered sweeteners and syrups and go here instead. Great interior too - more room than I anticipated.
