Steep & Brew West

There was a new employee training- which took service a little longer which was fine. Employees were pleasant. Coffee was average. Chocolate croissant was good! Place was a little dirty- crumbs all over the floor, under the counters where they were prepping coffee/food, bathroom was not very clean, smelled and toilet clogged. Overall a quiet place- no music for a majority of the time I was there, which I thought was a little odd.

New to the area and was hoping this cute place would be my local morning coffee spot. After a few weeks of visits, it's not terrible but I'm already kind of over it. Why? It's the inconsistent quality of pastries, coffee (drip self serve coffees often tepid), and service. Also, I think it's just odd for Steep n Brew to offer so few snacks that weren't loaded with sugar. Oh well, the search for a great morning haunt continues.

I got the Indian Sunset tea and oatmeal cookies, and my husband had the smoothie with granola. Everything was delicious, and the atmosphere and service were excellent. I was surprised by how tasty the Indian Sunset tea was. Since I can’t drink coffee because it’s too bitter for me, I really appreciate their high-quality tea. I’ve tried chai teas at other cafés, but they were usually store-bought and too sweet. I’m so glad I found a delicious spiced tea where I can adjust the sweetness myself. I’ll definitely be back!

One of the coziest, friendliest coffee shops in the area! I love the quiet atmosphere & the furnishings, from the soft couches to the tall barstools by the window/ counter, giving you lots of options for a hangout spot! Highly recommend the peach or jasmine teas, or the blueberry crumble smoothie. The almond cake is a super moist delicious treat. Adore this place!!

steep and brew West is a nice coffee shop. The staff is very friendly and the service prompt. Product assortment is good… And the pastries are delicious. (Madison sourdough? ) I had a redeye (espresso shot with House, coffee)… Very tasty. And Keith had chai tea… He said it was good. I like the fact that patrons are allowed a cup that they can refill at their convenience from the large crafts that are kept full of four different coffee flavors. The inside of the shop is small… But importantly, the small makes it feel cozy, more than crowded, and the space is warm and inviting. Many small tables… And even some very comfortable high back chairs that are upholstered, which invite people to sit and chat or read a book… Most excellent. They also have a heater that is a faux fire… Artificial, but still interestingly, comforting and lovely. parking is easy as it is at the market Square shopping center. prices are very reasonable… The only weird thing that I encountered was the fact that if a patron wants to add a tip to their bill, they actually need to tell the cashier server what the tip amount is before the bill is calculated. This is really weird, and I don’t like the fact that I think it limits or constrains how customers, give tips to the to the service staff. I hope their management realizes this is unfair to the staff… It is a complexity that is somewhat uncomfortable to customers as well.
