Crema's Take

This casino café has seen better days since new ownership took over, with regulars noticing a noticeable decline in both food quality and portion sizes that once made it worth the visit. The smoky, worn atmosphere feels more like a local's last resort than a destination, though the late hours and quick-service coffee option might work if you're desperate for caffeine in Sun Valley and don't mind the melancholy vibe. If nostalgia for what this place used to be is your only draw, you're probably better off seeking coffee elsewhere—the magic that kept people coming back for nearly a decade appears to have left with the previous management.

8 ish years ago the Cafe inside Hobeys was amazing. Now the portions are small, prices up, and the quality of food has gone completely to shit.

Where do I start since Tamarack bought Hobeys and now you want to change the coffee shop it isn't the same. First off get rid of that disgusting Ken's dressing. That salads are crap. It is cheaper which is nice. Let the coffee shop keep its own identity stop making it like the Tamarack Coffee Shop. Probably going to find a new place to eat.

Ordered fish and chips, got one thin piece of overcooked fish, couldn't even chew it. Used to get 3-4 pieces of nicely cooked, thick cod for same price. Menu change, no specials. Ok, new owners, will try one more time with another dish I've had in past. Meal was compted and servers were great.

Depressing, smokey casino, where the customers are even more depressing. Nothing special about this place at all. Not even any good food deals, which is unusual for a small, run down casino in a nasty part of town. There is literally no reason to go here. You'd probably have a better gaming experience at a local bar or supermarket.

Went to celebrate my mother in laws 80th birthday. The staff was rude and the food not that great. They aren't kid friendly. The waiter was nice and very helpful.
