Great Northern Cycle & Ski

This place never disappoints. Ben did a fantastic job listening to each problem area I was having in my ski boot and remedied each one. The turn around time was amazingly quick and the customer service of everyone in the place was fantastic and authentic. Thank you!

The core of this shop is the people. They are truly amazing folks they are kind, they care about you, your experience and your equipment. They have astounding tribal knowledge about what they sell and where you should use it. They love to hear stories about adventures and are great cheerleaders. They have figured out some very techie problems I have had with bikes and skis that have impressed me. This shop is an anchor in out town and a great springboard for adventure. 10 stars is what they deserve!

Abe was fantastic! He was knowledgeable, funny, and efficient, and I appreciated his attention to detail and energy. If you're going to spend time and money on quality equipment, you need a staff member who is passionate and smart, and Abe had it all!

Was visiting Whitefish to ski but experienced significant pain from my new boots. Really tried to push it off until I came back home, but ended up calling Great Northern to see if they had a boot fitter available and could squeeze me in. Had an incredibly validating experience working with Ben. Thank you for your knowledgeable assessments and recommendations for improving my boots! After two visits, I was able to continue to ski the week without any numbness or pain at all! Highly recommend to anyone considering visiting a boot fitter for additional work while skiing on vacation- you won’t be disappointed; it’s so worth it. Pics of my boots for the algorithm :-)

I can’t say enough good things about the Great Northern Cycle & Ski. I got a flat tire out on the trails the other day and brought the bike in for repair. I was concerned that just showing up would be lucky to get a repair that day, but they managed to squeeze me in because I was only here for five more days. Not only did they make the repair, but I also found out my handlebars were on backwards, and they offered to set them up correctly. I can’t say enough good things about this bike shop and the people who work here. You’ve got a parking lot right next door, they’ll serve you coffee or tea inside, and they have a lot of clothing and parts to choose from. 10/10
