If you’re in Key West, you must visit the newly opened 123 Rico Pastel—an authentic, family-run treasure. The moment I approached the window, I was warmly greeted by the woman at the front. As a conch who’s lived here all my life, I enjoyed a delightful conversation about their new business and a peek behind the scenes. Key West has many Cuban coffee spots, but this is no ordinary window—this is a true, authentic Cuban bakery. The Cuban coffee is one of the smoothest I’ve ever tasted, and the sandwiches and lunch specials not only look beautiful but deliver the authentic taste of Cuba in every bite. Even so, what truly sets them apart is their unmatched variety of handmade pastries—crafted with love, from exquisite éclairs to stunning cakes. They bring the sweetest parts of Cuba right here to Key West. A must-visit gem!

I tried the iced mocha and it was topped with beautiful whipped cream and a chocolate mermaid tail & chocolate drizzle. It was delicious and not too sweet! I also tried the pistachio croissant and by far 10/10 recommend. The flavor is amazing and the presentation is beautiful. My boys true their ecclairs which were delicious! 100000/10 recommend this place! Staff was super friendly!

Everything we ordered was super fresh, delicious and for such a fair price too! We loved the mango milkshake and vanilla cappuccino, would definitely order again! The pastries were some of the best desserts my husband and I have ever had in Key West. (The guava and cheese pastry was a MUST have!) They serve breakfast, lunch, and all kinds of desserts! We will definitely come back.
