Crema's Take

This no-frills bagel counter is a beloved Philadelphia grab-and-go where the real draw is generous portions at fair prices—reviewers rave about getting their money's worth on breakfast combos and customizable deli sandwiches, though bagel purists might find them a step below authentic NYC standards. The streamlined experience (ordering via touchscreen, quick service, constant foot traffic) makes it perfect for fueling up before work or lunch, and families clearly appreciate the straightforward menu of fresh pastries, light fare, and full breakfast options without pretension.

Whatever you do, do NOT order a deli sandwich with no meat. First of all, there is only one price whether you get meat on it or not. But my team was ordering lunch from here, so I ordered a long roll (extra $4!) with just cheese and veg. For nearly $20 (!!) I got 1 tiny sliver of cheese and 1 leaf of lettuce on each side of the roll plus a few tomatoes, peppers, and pickles. Even if that's the normal skimpy amount of cheese they put on a hoagie, a decent place would throw on a few extra slices if you are paying the same price as a meat sandwich. People here aren't kidding about the prices being ridiculous for what you get. Never again.

Ordered 2 bagel sandwiches, bagel and cream cheese, pancakes and French toast. You get your money’s worth - prices are comparable in the city! Food was delicious and perfectly prepared to order! Service was quick and so friendly. It’s a five star for me

I’ve ordered basic bagels a few times from this place and they’ve been average. Definitely not the higher quality of your average real NYC bagel. After today’s sandwich I’m never ordering from this place again. I paid about $20 for an everything bagel with lox, cream cheese, capers, tomatos, pretty hefty price so I expected decent quality. Instead, I received the tiniest bagel that was smushed (less than half the width of a normal bagel), cold, extremely chewy with some parts inedible. The rest of the ingredients were ok. I called to inform them and asked if they could do something about it, at least provide a new bagel, the person I spoke with said “No one else has complained about the bagels and there’s nothing I can do about it”. Wouldn’t even give me a name of a manager. Wasn’t even asking for much. Anyways, highly advise against this place. Overpriced, poor quality and bad service.

My go to bagel place in Philly. Delicious bagels, easy ordering on a screen near the entrance. They have lots of deli sandwich options and you can also create your own. They also have a wide assortment of drinks that I appreciate.

A perfect breakfast spot or quick lunch grab & go. Walked by this place and saw that there was a stream of people constantly going in empty-handed and out with bags of food. The storefront seemed unassuming, but we were intrigued and starving after the train. We didn't have much time before our meeting, so we entered the shop on a whim. It's pretty tight at the front with limited seats/space to wait, two little touch screen key pads for self-service ordering, and the menu written on a long chalkboard sign spanning the whole left wall (and part of the right)! Ordering was easy and our food was done in less than 7 minutes, and I saw several others walk in to pickup orders they made online/the app. The place was clean and the sizzle and smells from the griddle make you even hungrier as you wait! For the money and convenience, it was great! I can also see how this place would be great for hangovers or to grab brunch and bring home. Can't wait to go back!
