Blue Bottle Coffee
830 N Fairfax Ave #1, West Hollywood, CA
Crema's Take
“This West Hollywood Blue Bottle draws a devoted crowd for its espresso-focused pours and thoughtfully sourced cold brews, backed by baristas who genuinely know their craft and treat every customer like a friend. The cozy-yet-modern vibe makes it perfect for a slow morning or productive work session, though arrive early if you're eyeing their pastries—they tend to sell out by mid-morning. Just be prepared for weekend lines and a sometimes hectic energy that doesn't quite match the serene coffee experience you might be seeking.”

Love everything about this coffee shop! Especially the staff they are the sweetest most informative baristas I've ever met in lala land 😊
I absolutely love their coffee ☕️ but It sucks that they're so low stock that by 9am most of the sweet or savory baked items are GONE. Also the lines can get very long, specially on a weekend and I don't have the patience for that so instead I just buy their blue bottle coffee whole beans from Sprouts and make my own coffee ;-)
Nothing like starting the day with a bit of “barebacking.” In the Gen Z sense, of course, which apparently means leaving the house with no digital devices. Many mornings I like to leave my phone at home and wander over to Blue Bottle. I grab a coffee, sit outside at one of their tables, and let my mind “bareback” away. It’s incredibly calming to disconnect for a bit. Today I actually had my phone with me for once, so I snapped a few quick shots.
Absolutely love this place! Blue Bottle never disappoints – the coffee is always rich, smooth, and perfectly brewed. The atmosphere is cozy yet modern, and the staff is genuinely friendly and attentive. Every cup feels like it’s made with care and passion. It’s the perfect spot to start the day, meet friends, or just enjoy a quiet moment with an excellent coffee. Truly one of the best coffee shops around!
Overall: 7/10. My least favorite Blue Bottle so far (and I'm the big fan). Not accommodating, service is slow. Interior is uncomfortable. Exterior is just an ugly parking lot. Coffee is still damn good. RESUME: I would go to the other Blue Bottle nearby. *** Coffee: 9/10. This is Blue Bottle and this means best cappuccino you can possibly find in Los Angeles. Main reason why we're here, right? Service: 6/10. Not accommodating, snobby and slow. Interior: 6/10. It's uncomfortable. I mean all Blue Bottle coffee places are kinda minimalistic and industrial (-ish) looking, it's OK. However this particular place is the first one that made me feel uncomfortable and I did not know where to sit. Ended up outside, overlooking ugly parking lot. Exterior terrace: 6/10. It's a part of an ugly parking lot. Only California weather still makes it enjoyable to sit there. Price: 5/10. It's expensive. $6 for the tiniest cappuccino ever. I could tolerate the price if the place was perfect, but it was not.
