Crema's Take
“This espresso-focused roastery brings serious third-wave credentials to Tulsa, with baristas who genuinely know their craft—one reviewer praised their knowledgeable guidance on matcha varieties like Shirakawa Houjicha—and creative signature drinks that justify the specialty pricing. Their pour overs and cold brew sit alongside inventive offerings like orange and cinnamon lattes, though they're best visited if you appreciate their house style rather than expecting traditional cappuccinos or cortados. Located in Heirloom Brewery mornings, it's the kind of place that compares favorably to respected coffee shops across multiple states, even if the experience isn't without occasional inconsistencies.”

I've heard the matcha was amazing here and it is. I asked which of the two varieties was better and the barista mentioned that that Shirakawa Houjicha was a brown version, thicker and maybe a little more mellow. I went with that with just a splash of lavender syrup. All the syrups looked homemade. Service was great. We went on a Saturday so there was a line but service was quick. All the windows here make this the perfect spot to sip and chill in the mornings. I may have to make this my regular stop. It's not that far off my drive. They had a pan of huge cinnamon rolls, too.
Visited here when driving from Houston to Kansas City. Way overhyped. Ordered a 12oz latte and a 8oz matcha. $19 without tip. Got my latte in 8oz form, and my matcha in 12oz form. Service was meh — only one person in front of me and it probably took 15 minutes to make two drinks. No food at this location. There’s a food truck, but I saw the operator of the food truck just dump a bin of sauce onto the pavement in the parking lot. Just… odd. And way overpriced. Would not return.
I’ve been on quite the coffee journey in my life and been to my fair share of third wave coffee shops in several states; this shop is up there with some of the best. Compared to anything else in Tulsa, they stomp the competition completely! They get beans from world class roasters and are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. You literally will not find anything close to this without driving at least a couple of hours outside of Tulsa. 10/10 no notes.
Espresso is solid with a good pull. Strong flavor that comes through. Pretty floral. Don't go if you like your specific non-latte drinks (cappuccino, cortado, etc). Asked for a cappuccino, got a short latte. Also, need to check what brand of coffee they use so I can avoid it since I had an allergy reaction to it.
Coffee @ Heirloom is at Heirloom Brewery in the mornings and is fantastic! They have great quality coffee and drink options, super fun vibes. I had their orange & cinnamon latte iced with oat milk at a yoga event they held and it was incredible! Great people!!
