Crema's Take

Tucked away in south Tulsa, this espresso-focused café nails both the craft and the comfort, earning a devoted following with impeccably balanced specialty drinks like their standout lavender latte that actually tastes like lavender. The intimate space—warmed by soft lighting, elephant artwork, and thoughtful plant-filled corners—strikes that rare balance of being cozy enough for a slow afternoon with friends yet professional enough to anchor a workday, all while the knowledgeable staff makes you feel genuinely welcomed. Pair an expertly pulled shot with one of their house-made pastries and you've found the kind of neighborhood gem that people intentionally drive across town for.

My husband and I were on this side of town and we finally got to try Brice's!! It did not disappoint!! I got an iced lavender latte and the lavender was on point unlike other coffee shops. I also got a lox everything bagel which was phenomenal. My husbands not a huge fan of fish and even he liked it. He got a breakfast bun that he also really enjoyed. I will definitely go out of my way to come back. 10/10!!

I’m in town for work and intentionally drove about 15 minutes out of my way to visit Brice’s Coffee and Bake House so I’d have a comfortable place to work between meetings. It was absolutely worth the trip. The bakery items were delicious, the latte was excellent, and the overall atmosphere made it easy to settle in and enjoy the experience. The owner took the time to personally walk me through the bakery offerings, which made the visit feel welcoming and authentic. It was also fun hearing other customers come in and share their excitement about the pastries and drinks. The café is immaculately clean, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully set up for guests. They offer milk alternatives like almond and oat milk, and families with kids can enjoy options like hot chocolate as well. I write reviews fairly often, and it’s rare I’d consider giving more than five stars, but Brice’s Coffee and Bake House truly stands out. A wonderful, family-owned business that’s clearly loved by its community.

Service & Atmosphere Brice’s is a welcoming café with soft lighting, elephant artwork, framed prints, plants, and comfortable seating. Handcrafted decor creates a relaxed, intimate space that invites lingering conversation. Service was provided by Jill, with Brice’s since opening in 2024. She was engaging, attentive, and experienced, guiding choices confidently with speed and alacrity. Food Brice’s pastries share two clear themes. The croissants are thicker, with less lamination and richness, leaning more toward a soft, brioche-like texture than a crisp traditional croissant. Many pastries center on a milk custard accented with cinnamon or almond, a flavor profile repeated across the case. The coffees are rich and decadent, and the syrups are made in-house. Coffee I ordered a coffee with the Milk Tart syrup, and it was beautiful. It was not overly sweet and had a slightly nutty finish. The syrup highlighted the darker roasted notes of the coffee while allowing gentle notes of sweet milk to come through on the back end, almost like caramel but more delicate and distinct in character. Ubuntu Bar Layers of caramel, pecans, chocolate, and coconut come together in harmony. Each bite begins with earthy grain notes that give way to lightly sweet caramel, small pieces of pecan, and soft fruity tones from the coconut. The texture has a good contrast of crunchy, chewy, and soft. Cobblestone Bar The shortbread acts as the perfect foundation for layered strawberry and almond that blend seamlessly. The bar is balanced in sweetness, and the combination of strawberry and almond feels natural and complete. Pecan Tart The almond-flour tart shell has ideal thickness and doneness, and the interior filling shows clear notes of pecan and caramel. Brice’s manages to restrain the sweetness, resulting in a pecan tart that is flavorful without being cloying. Custard Raspberry Tart, Custard Tart, and Fruit Tart Each tart uses the same almond-flour base found in the pecan tart. The consistency across tarts is impressive. The milk custard is silky, mild, and smooth, allowing the fruit to shine on the raspberry and mixed fruit versions. Blueberries and blackberries pair especially well with the slightly salty, buttery base. The beauty of these tarts lies in their simplicity. The traditional milk tart highlights cinnamon and gentle dairy sweetness without heaviness. Almond Croissant, Chocolate Croissant, Ubuntu Croissant Each croissant is thick. The traditional chocolate croissant contains a firm chocolate ganache filling and is pleasant, though not especially remarkable. The almond croissant offers a generous amount of filling with additional almond baked on top; it is layered well and strongly almond-forward. The Ubuntu croissant, filled with milk custard and cinnamon and finished with gold dust, is the standout of the three. It is rich, layered, and decadent and represents the strongest execution among their croissant offerings. Brownie The brownie presents a mild chocolate flavor and is comparatively bland next to the rest of the case. The texture features a crisp top and soft, chewy center, but the chocolate is so restrained that it nearly fades away.

It was my first time in yesterday, and I went back again today. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, and they answered all my questions without sounding annoyed. Wonderful experience. Best chocolate croissant ever! Coffee was also super yummy. Also, how adorable are the little cans?! 🩷🥐☕️
