Crema's Take
“Dairy Fairies Cafe in Hamtramck is a cozy dessert destination where the atmosphere invites you to linger and the treats—like their legendary Biscoff cheesecake—are genuinely memorable. The cafe excels at specialty drinks and pastries, though service can be leisurely, making it perfect for unhurried hangouts rather than quick coffee runs. It's the kind of place where you'll find yourself thinking about that last bite long after you leave, especially if you're with friends or family who appreciate taking time to savor something sweet.”

If you’re looking for a dessert that tastes like pure happiness, this Biscoff cheesecake is it. Creamy, rich, and perfectly spiced, it’s the kind of treat you think about long after the last bite. We tried it three weeks ago and it has been my cheat treat every week! And I have to say Ayesha is theee sweetest! Her warm energy alone could make any dessert taste better, but thankfully the cheesecake is already perfection. The owner is incredibly nice and genuinely funny, the type of person who makes you feel welcome the moment you walk in. And his wife? She deserves an award, because that cheesecake recipe of hers is absolute magic. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re seriously missing out. Treat yourself — you won’t regret it! 🍰✨
Went into an empty cafe, ordered a coffee, mini pancake stacks, and a ice cream cone to dine. Was told to wait 15-20 mins, which is fine. Finally was given the stacks after 30+mins and I asked where is the coffee? A coffee shouldn't take that long. Right away I was given a watered down and cold coffee, when I put creamer in it, it literally turned looked like it was milk. As for the stacks, the pancakes were super dry and hard, but looked very good so that's a plus point.
The atmosphere is very cute for a hangout. Milkshake was very good but boba drink was mid. Desserts looked good but dry, didn’t try any. Service was also very mid, took a while to get the boba drink and not as friendly as other spots.
After an adventurous evening of exploring the city, Reonna suggested we treat ourselves to something sweet. Initially, we considered our go-to donut shop, but Jon took the initiative to search for cheesecake options and discovered Dairy Fairies Cafe in Hamtramck, known for its cheesecake and late-night hours. Despite the street being closed due to construction, we navigated through an alternate route, parked nearby, and made our way to the cafe on foot. Upon entering, we were immediately captivated by the cafe's trendy decor and vibrant atmosphere. The logo was stylish, and the whimsical fairies adorning the walls, along with the ropes and faux vines draping from the ceiling, created a lively and inviting space. The cafe was spacious and impeccably clean; even the bathroom exuded a fresh scent, which added to the overall pleasant experience. However, the decor was merely a backdrop to our main objective: indulging in some delightful treats. Dairy Fairies Café offered an enticing selection of desserts, making it difficult to choose just one. My daughter, unable to resist the temptation, decided to sample several items, while Jon and I opted for a more restrained approach with one or two selections each. She started with a lotus Biscoff cake that was a delightful explosion of flavors, followed by perfectly fried waffle sticks that struck an ideal balance between crispiness and warmth. Her indulgence continued with a s’mores treat and a strawberry shortcake, while Jon savored a strawberry shortcake waffle stick paired with a peanut butter milkshake that he declared one of the best he had ever tasted. I chose a simple cup of coffee complemented by a Nutella waffle stick, which was nothing short of extraordinary. Although the service was a bit slow, and I had to remind them about my coffee at the end, the two younger staff members were incredibly friendly, always smiling and engaging in cheerful conversation. I appreciated their efforts, especially since they were managing the busy cafe on their own. Despite a sudden rush of customers during our visit, the overall experience was delightful, leaving us with sweet memories to cherish.
This place was wonderful! The staff was great, and treats were amazing. In our group we ordered almost one of everything type of dessert. All was great. The staff offered the one item we did not order and it ended up being the best. What a lovely find.
