I’ve seen this place on videos but in person it is even more beautiful!! It was a bank before but they turned it into this magical goth fantasy that takes your breath away! The witch statue and red vitral is mesmerizing It is a must visit while in Salem! Also I loved the Christmas merch! Only place that can get away with Christmas stuff in early november hahah

I'm a Salem resident and I am on a mission to tour all the local attractions. About this one: Blackcraft is a large, gorgeous store (with a giant witch on the ceiling) and a coffee place, BUT not everyone realizes that it also includes a haunted house called Haunt Blackcraft. I visited it on an October weekday morning and there was no line. I was the only one inside too. The attraction can be either visited with live actors on specific days (check their website) or during the store regular business hours as a walkthrough experience. I did the latter, buying tickets at the store counter. What it is: You'll find a sequence of a dozen rooms. Each one resembles a movie set and focuses on different horror tropes: the mad scientist lab, the haunted church etc. As a walkthrough, rooms are semi-dark but with enough light to take pictures and videos, which are totally allowed. Some corridors between rooms are darker but, again, no jumps. There are no animatronics nor anything moves, so, as a walkthrough, it is not scary. However, between the macabre scenes, the daunting music and random sounds that are played in the rooms, I'll tell you, this place is seriously CREEPY. I LOVED it! You can get tons of interesting pictures and feel spooked without being scared. With actors, this place turns into a full haunted house. I didn't experience it, but I'm pretty sure that IS going to be SCARY. (the walkthrough) PROs Creepy! Really well done and enjoyable. Pictures and video allowed. Long enough (I took my time taking pictures and videos, and it took me about half hour to get through it) and very reasonable price. CONs Just some heads-up. In tourist season I often saw long lines outside the shop. Also, this attraction is not suitable for children (if you wondered). Even on this review, I avoided to upload pictures of the most disturbing scenes.

Beautiful store with lots of different choices for souvenirs! We also loved the different little places in the store that you can take photos. I highly recommend checking out this store. Just remember to make a reservation if you want coffee.

Amazing store with a goth witch vibe. The building is an old bank and has been renovated in said way. Merch such as books, quality souvenirs, coffee, clothing, decor available. Coffee shop in the back that makes a delicious latte. And they are dog friendly! Staff were available and friendly as well. Will go back on my next visit. No bathrooms for the after coffee experience FYI.

5 Stars – A Salem Must-See for Spooky Souls 🖤✨ The Blackcraft Cult store in Salem was one of the places I was most excited to visit—and it did not disappoint! We made it our first stop on day two of our trip, and I was immediately in heaven. First off, I grabbed a Magic Mocha with lavender from the in-store coffee bar, and WOW—it was delicious and the perfect cozy vibe to sip on while I browsed all the dark, magical goodness. The employees were SO kind and helpful, and the entire store was a treasure trove of goth delights. I found so many fun things and definitely walked out with more than I planned. One of my favorite finds? A sheer black dress that is going to look absolutely stunning in a future photoshoot. 😍 I was thrilled to see they had extended sizes in lots of their clothing—something you don’t see nearly enough of in alt fashion. Huge bonus points for that! I do wish some of the kids’ designs (like the Moon Child shirt and the adorable tutu dresses) came in adult and plus sizes too—they were SO cute. The store had a killer mix of creepy-chic home decor, books, jewelry, and fashion, and the overall vibe was just chef’s kiss. Plus, the witch hanging from the ceiling? Iconic. If you’re in Salem and love witchy, edgy, goth-inspired everything, Blackcraft Cult is an absolute must. I could’ve easily spent hours (and all my money) here. 🖤🦇🕯️
