Crema's Take

Artemisia Café feels like stepping into a vintage train car filled with warmth and genuine hospitality, where locals linger over exceptional brunches and cinnamon rolls that live up to the hype. The quiet, unhurried atmosphere pairs perfectly with carefully executed classics like eggs Benedict and house-made pastries, making it the kind of place where both the food and the people make you want to stay longer than you planned.

This cafe is almost like sitting in a train (in a good way). It’s a very warm, quaint vibe inside, the workers are so pleasant, and the decor just adds to the ambiance. Not to mention the food is always amazing. My favorite is the veggie breakfast (pictured - bottom plate) it has home fries, eggs, fresh sautéed veggies (broccoli, squash/zucchini, tomatoes, and a few other things). It’s one of my favorite breakfast/brunch places to go. They fill up quickly so it really depends, but I’ve always managed to get a booth in a timely manner. Definitely worth a try for a Sunday morning!

One of my best dining experiences ever. My wife and I came for their new years brunch and it hands down is top 2 of my best eats and I couldn't tell you off the top my number one so that is saying alot when i can sure place it up there. I've had some amazing experiences but we will be thinking about this one for life.

Artemisia Café is a cozy little brunch spot tucked away in Portland. The atmosphere is quiet and low-key—just right for a slow morning. I had the eggs Benedict, and my wife went with the vegan hash. Both were good, though not especially memorable. The staff was friendly and attentive, which added to the relaxed vibe. A nice option if you’re nearby and looking for a mellow, no-frills brunch.

A very cozy spot to have breakfast at where both the food & service were excellent. Their cinnamon roll was massive, & all 5 members of our group enjoyed what we each ordered. Our waitress had a great sense of humor & was very attentive!!

Just ate lunch here and will definitely come back. I love the atmosphere here. It's very relaxing and the decor is great. The food was perhaps the best sandwich I've had in some time. The menu is absurdly small but the execution was perfection. It's always better to have a small menu done well than a large menu where the food is mediocre. I got the flame grilled chicken sandwich and my boyfriend got the chicken and artichoke melt. Both were excellent. The only down side here is the service is painfully slow. We finished our meal and waited over a half hour before we were given our check and offered a box. But server was nice. So if you're not in a rush it's a great place to eat. If you're in a rush I don't recommend. I loved it here.
