Crema's Take

Hawai'ian Village Coffee opens at the crack of dawn (5:30 AM) to serve both early-rising tourists and locals, with a devoted espresso program that shines brightest in their single-origin offerings like their celebrated Costa Rican medium roast. The casual outdoor seating area and friendly, efficient staff create a genuine community vibe where you can linger with your excellent cold brew or matcha, paired with surprisingly generous bagels that locals rave about. While consistency varies slightly between visits, this spot has earned its reputation as a reliable, unpretentious gathering place for quality coffee and honest food in Kahului.

What to expect

Espresso-focused, matcha and tea options too, good cold brew. A quick-grab, outdoor seating spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast and light food on the menu. Family friendly. Wifi.

I ordered their Iced Vanilla latte and I ordered a second one immediately. This was so balanced and delicious. Not too bitter or too sweet. Perfect!

Real coffee shop among tourist traps and Starbucks...west side doesn't have the best coffee shops, but this place is solid. I ordered a cortado and got a well made one with good espresso flavor but not burnt. Quick service and a few different seats indoor and outdoor.

Delicious food and coffee. We got breakfast bagels, coffee and matcha. Everything was great and they have a nice little outdoor seating area. Staff was friendly and efficient. Would go again.
