Tahoe House Bakery & Gourmet

My husband and I went twice in our 4 days stay at lake Tahoe. We got the swiss chocolate croissant, the croissant, lots of swiss kisses, raspberries in pastry puff, and a French baguette with some jam. Everything was wonderful, my husband is from Switzerland and I am from France, so we are picky about that stuff. Staff was super friendly, and the tables on the side are in a quiet space. Definitely a good place the have breakfast or pastries for lunch.

We love Tahoe House Bakery & Gourmet in Tahoe City. The sandwiches are fresh and delicious - they remind us of my husband’s European grandma’s homemade sandwiches. The whole place has the best rustic cabin chalet vibe, with great pastries and coffee too.

On my way up to Owterbuilt's cabin with a bear autoloading disqualifyer because his cabin has been bearsacked for the 8th and last time...and stopping at the Tahoe House Bakery and Gourmet Shop is a must do! What a great place, full of the very best things in life. I especially enjoy the pies, specifically the savory pies...5 stars without even trying! ☆☆☆☆☆

This place is awesome. I had the Sausage, egg, cheese, and spinach burrito, it had big pieces of sausage & eggs. A blueberry and cranberry muffin that was perfectly balanced, with the sweetness of the blueberries and the tartness of the cranberries, it was soooo soft and delicious. A pastry that was tender and baked perfectly. A Mocha iced coffee, great flavor. The line was long, but it moved quickly. It was worth the time. I recommend that you make the time too, you will not be disappointed. I can't wait for my next visit.

This is my kind of place. There are so many amazing, well crafted, healthy, delicious meals and dessert options. Their attached grocery area was wonderful also. Stocked up on snacks for our trip. The dining area was super cute. Ate too much, took more home.
