Crema's Take

This Nashville spot is absolutely obsessed with sambusas done right—crispy, flavorful, and endlessly creative with rotating varieties that keep regulars coming back to discover new favorites. Beyond the stellar pastries and breakfast options, they're clearly experimenting with bold flavor combinations like their beloved dirty chai and Dubai chocolate pastries, all served in a warm, family-friendly space that makes it easy to linger or grab something quick.

The dirty chai was absolutely the best I’ve ever had. The sambusas were full of flavor and spices but not too spicy. Tons of options for sweet treats. Definitely gonna come back to try the biscoff cheesecake and the Dubai chocolate cookies. This place is a great addition to midtown and hope it stays for the long haul cause it’s delicious

Literally *every* sambusa is delicious! I started with the cheesy breakfast, but then would also add a new flavor to try. Each time I had the expectation of “well if I don’t like this one, at least I have my favorite.” They are now *all* my favorites. Genuinely can’t go wrong with any option! They are all winners 😋

The sambusas were absolutely fantastic. I got the classic beef and the breakfast (eggs, potatoes, and cheese) and both just blew me away. It's perfect for a morning or midday small meal especially in cooler weather. Pair it with a hot drink - the brown sugar chai was amazing. Will absolutely be back here throughout the fall and winter.

Got some sambusas from here for an event - tried the beef, chicken, and veggie. Freshly made after I ordered so the outside was crispy and inside was hot. Flavor across the board could've been stronger, I tried the mango salsa which was slightly spicy and complimented the sambusas well. Pricing is okay, parking is a bit tough if you want to sit inside as there's not really any great spot to park right outside. $4 per sambusa, 3 for $11, 6 for $20 (not including tax). Wish I tried the chai but thought of it too late.

I went for the Dubai chocolate strawberries and Sunday morning they were already out when they opened sadly. I did get the Dubai chocolate croissant, Dubai, chocolate Tres leches, and Dubai chocolate bar. It was fairly expensive for each item, but that’s understandable considering not many places carry it and there’s high demand. The tres leches was alright but mostly regular tres leches with some of the pistachio and kataifi on top that was kind of dry though and the cake wasn’t very wet either. But it was still not bad over all. The Dubai chocolate croissant was really good. Could’ve definitely used a little bit more of the pistachio butter mixed in because the filling is a little dry, but overall pretty good. Definitely wish i could have tried the strawberries but maybe another time.
