Crema's Take

Side Pony is a vibrant neighborhood hub that seamlessly blends excellent coffee with an unexpectedly impressive cocktail program, making it perfect for everything from a morning latte and breakfast burrito to an evening drink with live music. The cozy-but-lively atmosphere and genuinely warm staff create an ideal setting for lingering over a specialty drink or catching one of their creative pop-up events, while their willingness to experiment with playful flavors (think peppermint mochas and creative cocktails) shows they're not afraid to have fun with their craft. Whether you're looking for a leisurely brunch spot or a place to discover something unexpected, Side Pony delivers on both the coffee and the experience.

Side Pony is the best hidden gem in the whole city. Amazing coffee, a killer cocktail program, great food, an insane Happy Hour, the best events... Oh and they have smoothies and protein lattes available for some post workout (or run around Sloans lake) nourishment. This place has it all. Hats off to you Side Pony team.

Delicious breakfast burritos and lattes! Peppermint mocha was warm and great for the cold morning. Nutella pastry was a tad dry but flavor was good Cute little place with pop-up events inside and nice workers!

Went for a cocktail before dinner. Super cute. Great service and the cocktails were good. Not an extensive liquor inventory but it was fun. Also had a live guitarist who was very good. They are also a coffee bar and they have food. We will go back.

I stopped by this place for brunch and really enjoyed it. It’s a pretty cool little spot — cozy but lively. I had a mimosa and a breakfast burrito, both of which were really good. The atmosphere stood out to me — they had several small vendors set up inside selling jewelry, baked goods, and even some vintage clothing. It looks like they may regularly rotate vendors and host different events throughout the week, which adds a creative and community-driven vibe. There’s also some nice outdoor seating, perfect for a relaxed morning or afternoon. Overall, it’s a fun, unique spot with good food, good drinks, and a lot of personality.

What a fun little spot for a bite and cocktails! Clean, neat, and run by a very friendly and upbeat staff, the food was excellent and the drinks very creative - though I’ll skip the lavender infused one - can you say “laundry detergent”? - but no judgments for those who go for it! Fantastic waffle with blueberries and very yummy pretzel - the mustard dip was like wow! Stop in here and enjoy! You won’t be disappointed.
