NashHouse Southern Spoon and Saloon
114 8th Ave S, Nashville, TN
Crema's Take
“This Southern institution serves up proper Nashville hospitality with genuinely excellent comfort food—think crispy fried green tomatoes, smoked turkey, and a banana pudding so good it'll have you scraping the bowl clean. Whether you're settling in for a leisurely breakfast with biscuits and gravy or catching live music on a lazy afternoon, the warm atmosphere and outdoor seating make it the kind of place locals actually return to again and again. It's the real deal, not a tourist trap, where everything from the food to the vibe consistently exceeds expectations.”

This is my second or third time coming and it has never disappointed us. The food is always above your expectations. Fried Green Tomatoes, and Fried Pickles is always a good start to a menu. Live music from local up and coming performers. 🌟 for response.
I was told whenever I visited Nashville Tennessee to try the Nash House. Well, we did. It did not disappoint. It was a quite Saturday afternoon when we visited the restaurant. Not many people there at that time but everything was good. We were entertained with live music good food and great environment. Try it for yourself and make a post to tell us what your experience was. See ya! 👋
We kicked things off with one proper American breakfast with crispy bacon, golden cheesy hash browns, and biscuits and gravy oh and don’t forget the eggs. The other meal had 2 eggs stacked proudly on a warm, buttery biscuit with bacon. The biscuit was fluffy yet sturdy, soaking up the yolk like it was made for the job. It was hearty without being heavy, the kind of plate that makes you feel like the day’s already off to a winning start. Also I would solely just go back for the casserole hash. It was bomb! And then came the Bloody Mary. Bold, balanced, and spiced just enough to wake up the senses without overwhelming them. At only $9, it felt like a small luxury that didn’t break the bank. What really elevated the experience, though, was the service. Our server was genuinely kind and attentive, going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable while the kitchen took some time to cook over meals.
Great Atmosphere. The smoked turkey is Great! But the Banana Pudding is Unbelievable!! Could not stop until I cleaned the bowl! lol My first trip to Nashville but I got lucky and found this place. Don’t miss out!!
Walked by this place late night and decided to try it the next day for dinner. Very good salmon dish. Nice to sit inside but still people watch and feel the outdoors at the high tops. We realized they served breakfast so we went here the next morning (our hotel free breakfast is lame). Great breakfast! Nice to sit in the shade at their outdoor seating. Good service at both visits. Part of the Cambria hotel, but not jacked up hotel prices and accessible from the street.
