Salt City Market
484 S Salina St, Syracuse, NY
Crema's Take
“Salt City Market is a beautifully designed community gathering space in Syracuse that houses multiple food vendors under one roof, so you can sample cuisines from around the world—Arab, Ethiopian, Mexican, Italian, and more—without leaving the building. The space itself is a major draw with its clean, well-lit interior, ample seating both indoors and out, and a full bar serving cocktails, creating a vibrant atmosphere that feels more like an elevated food hall than a typical market. Reviewers consistently praise the quality of individual dishes and the welcoming vibe, making it perfect for groups with different cravings or anyone who wants to explore flavors from various cultures in one visit.”

Stopped here today in Syracuse. Very glad we did. It was absolutely amazing. The chicken sandwich was amazing, very good flavor and perfectly done. The mac &cheese was great. Cornbread was perfect. He actually had me sample the not Utica greens and a wonderful pecan yam like dessert. Everything was excellent. Great place to stop in and have a great meal. Fair prices and great service.
Amazing. Everything about this space is truly beautiful, for it being a public community area for so many people to enjoy wonderful cuisine from different parts of the world. I’ve never felt more comfortable seeing a great environment from everyone, with great music to boot! There should be Ethiopian, Jamaican, Cali-Mex, Middle Eastern, Vietnamese, Indian and BBQ for cuisines, and a cocktail and dessert area too! This is really an amazing sense of community with great food, so implore everyone to support these vendors!!
We loved the atmosphere and the food/drinks we had. Bathrooms were clean. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Free parking lot had very limited space. We had to pay to park on the street. Good variety of food options.
Lots of seating space, clean, organized and well lit! Everyone was very helpful. Great bar with cocktails. Different types of cuisines, they have Arab, Ethiopian, Mexican, American, Italian among others! It’s a great place to chill and eat!
Very cool concept and very cool vibe. Multiple food vendors all in one building so you can satisfy any craving. It’s like a big fancy food court, with a nice bar. You can take the food and enjoy it at any vendor’s seating. There’s a cool kid playing area in the back, but you have to stay close to them because it backs up onto a rougher neighbourhood. Vendors pricing is a bit high for what you’re getting, but the decor and vibe are very nice.
