Meantime at the Junction

I absolutely love Meantime! They are my best study spot on Franklin, with delicious and friendly priced coffee! The baristas always manage to smile and laugh even during rushes! Also, their sustainability mission is amazing, and the 5% discount when you use your own mug is such a great incentive!!

love love love this place! so glad to be supporting a non-profit student-led (and sustainable!) coffee shop that truly cares about quality and serving their customers. the baristas are super sweet and always coming up with creative (and funny ways) to market the junction and campus y locations. i'm so excited to see what they come up with next. meantime is truly one of the gems of my undergrad at unc!

Coworking space + coffee shop, perfect for getting work done or grabbing a quick to-go coffee on your way into town. Right across from rosemary parking lot! Meantime is a loved student coffee shop in CH. This second location has a lot of potential. Free wifi, way more seating, more open concept, etc. Same type of drinks! I will say that I find the drinks either too sweet or watered down. This is true of the other meantime location. Keep that in mind when ordering and consider customizations. There are interesting alt milks, including macadamia, that they do not charge extra for. Also many non-coffee options too. Wish they had more all encompassing hours. Ch could use a late night study spot. There is high potential here.

A student-run cafe right across the street from the new Rosemary parking deck and only a 5 minute walk from campus! Gorgeous space with lots of seating, free wifi, and delicious coffee. What more could you ask for?!
