Crema's Take

You Do The Dishes is a uniquely charming hybrid spot in Tampa where you can sip thoughtfully made coffee while painting pottery in an genuinely warm, unhurried atmosphere. The owner Cindy and her staff—especially standouts like Faith—create the kind of cozy, welcoming space where you actually want to linger, whether you're celebrating a birthday, working on your laptop, or getting creative with ceramic pieces. It's the rare kind of place that feels equally special whether you're coming solo for a quiet morning or bringing your whole family for an experience you'll actually remember.

I went for the first time to celebrate a birthday and it exceeded all expectations. The place is very cozy, all the staff friendly and helpful and it was especially nice to meet the owner Cindy who is the sweetest. They have good drinks like tea and coffee and even ice cream. This is a place I will make sure to go back to and make sure to tell my friends to consider it for a unique experience

I would like to say, I love this place. Hands down the most comfortable and relaxing place to do pottery painting. Shout out to Faith, she was super sweet and always checking on us at the bar, we love her. She made us feel welcomed and always engaged with us when we needed help or just made short talk. This will definitely be my go to place.

The staff was accommodating, warm, and helpful with showing us the ropes. They sat us without a reservation and clearly warned us when they needed the table back, and they have helpful tips throughout the painting process. There was a big, varied crowd there, all in a good mood. It felt neighborhood-y and was a relaxing yet bustling place to be And they had a nice selection of pottery and painting materials. Paints, sponges, brushes, tape. It was our first time and we loved it. And my 8 year old nephew recommends it, too

What an incredible first experience with pottery painting! I absolutely loved it. The studio has such a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were incredibly helpful and kind. I'll definitely be back soon. As a bonus, they also serve excellent coffee—the perfect way to complete a creative and relaxing afternoon. I can't wait to come back and create my next piece. Highly recommend staying for a cup of their delicious coffee, too!

Adorable little place. I called ahead and made a reservation both times we went. We got a little booth in the corner. We got to go and pick out our own little pieces. It has a wonderfully cute atmosphere and you can go at your own pace. You can get your own little drinks and pastry from what I had are quite nice. I’ve been here twice and it’s been wonderful both times. Staff is super nice as well!
