Crema's Take

Urban Jungalow transforms a historic Tampa house into a lush, plant-based haven where you can order anything without dietary restrictions—their gluten-free bagel sandwiches and strawberry matcha are genuinely impressive, not an afterthought. The vibe is Instagram-worthy with verdant green decor and genuinely welcoming staff, making it perfect for lingering over a laptop or meeting friends, though seating is intentionally intimate rather than sprawling.

Cute esthetic and I love being able to order anything on the menu without asking if it is dairy free or gluten free. The staff are super friendly and welcoming. I live 3 hrs away but if I lived in the area it would be my go to hangout spot to grab a morning coffee with the baby and dogs in tow.

Incredible food, service & atmosphere! I was blown away by their gluten free bagel sandwich, charcuterie board & strawberry matcha. Already planning my next trip there! 10/10

The green decor makes the place look very welcoming. A house turned into a vegan restaurant. The place located close to North Howard. We got the bagel sandwich and pizza. We also got a protein shake. The tofu and the bagel were burnt on the edges. The focaccia pizza was strictly average. For the prices being quoted the food could be way better. Service was ok. Two ladies who were working took a while to get to the counter and help us.

Super cute place, was anticipating the opening! Vibes are good. Not a lot of seating. Was a little underwhelmed walking in. Small menu with lots of prepared take away items. I got the banhi sandwich which the flavor was good, bread the PERFECT texture and a blue matcha. I am GF but not vegan so was really happy with the bread. The sandwich was pretty spicy which I find is common with a lot of vegan food and didn't enjoy this part. The grab and go food looked good, will come back to try and try the bagels for sure. Was a little pricey for what I feel like I got but I'm used to paying that for GF upcharges at other places. $26 for the sandwich and matcha (tip including). Will be back but hope for more options. Not somewhere I would bring my meat eating, non vegan friends!

I went on opening day and it is such a cute place! The atmosphere is chic and green, pretty much what you expect from a plant-based spot in a city, and the staff was knowledgeable and friendly. The food was good, but could be improved. It was definitely protein-packed (I got the breakfast sandwich) but the flavor wasn't the best. All I could taste was the blackened tempeh.... I couldn't even taste the sriracha in the sauce! The tofu was fairly bland and too much for the tofu/bun ratio. Weirdly, for a vegan place, I think it could have used some veggies for a crunch! That said, the cookie was really good and the coffee was AMAZING. I decided to be basic and get a PSL because they said they make their syrups in house and you can definitely tell in the quality! The only thing I don't like is that they offer honey as a sweetener. If you are going to advertise as a vegan restaurant and have it on your menus, do away with all animal byproducts. Other than those little hiccups, it was a great place for brunch and I will definitely be back to try more!
