Crema's Take

This cash-only spot on Martha's Vineyard is beloved for its exceptional breakfast sandwiches and fresh-baked donuts that keep locals coming back, though quality and service can be inconsistent depending on when you visit. The friendly staff and quality coffee make it worth seeking out if you're in Edgartown for a quick morning grab, but come prepared with cash and manage expectations—it's a no-frills, grab-and-go experience rather than a destination for lingering.

They ONLY accept cash and the donuts look like they were bought at a super market. Strawberry frosted tastes like Pepto-Bismol .The coffee is ok if you are in desperate need for one. No place to sit and parking can be hectic. The only reason this place does well is that there isn’t much of a donut and coffee shop in the area.

Visiting Martha’s Vineyard for the first time and ran across this shop on my bike ride. I don’t normally carry cash on me and I didn’t know the shop was cash only. The young man behind the counter was so nice and offered me a coffee since I only had a card on me. That is great customer service and that is why I will be back again. This time with cash though 😁

Unfortunately, since they are the only donut show in town, they have a successful business. This is in spite of the fact they ONLY accept cash and the women that work there are extremely unfriendly and rude. I have never been to a donut shop where the employee rolls their eyes when you take a moment to decide which flavor donuts you want. Carla (I think that's her name) is crass and just plain mean...as are the others that work there for the most part. Donuts are fine but anticipate your coffee order to be wrong because they don't care and don't listen.
