Crema's Take

Nestled in the Buckman neighborhood, this coffee bar celebrates Latin and Mexican-inspired flavors with standout drinks like the Mazapan latte and Mexican mocha that feel authentically crafted rather than gimmicky. Owner and barista Braulio brings genuine warmth and passion to every interaction, creating a welcoming atmosphere that keeps regulars coming back—especially when paired with vegan croissants from Nonbasic.Masa and plenty of comfortable seating perfect for lingering conversations. It's the kind of place where you can taste the care in both the coffee and the hospitality.

A must for anyone in Portland! Especially if you enjoy Mexican-inspired drinks and specialty lattes. Braulio is always so nice and friendly – you can tell he has great passion for what he does. Oatmilk by default! :) Croissants are vegan too. Mazapan latte, please be eternal

I had the mazapan latte and pesto and tomato pastry both were bomb and would highly recommend! This location is within the wine place, there was plenty of seating, and at the time I went there was parking right in front.

La Lucha is my favorite coffee bar in the Buckman neighborhood. Delicious coffee with unique Hispanic inspired flavored lattes. Braulio the owner and barista is so cool, friendly and welcoming! A Portland gem with very nice atmosphere.

So happy I stopped in! This place is great :) I got the Mexican mocha latte and really loved it. You can tell how authentic their Latin inspired menu is and it was a really nice treat compared to more traditional coffee places I was chatting with Braulio and another employee and they were so chill. Vibes were great all around. Definitely check them out or book them!
