Crema's Take
“Street Dog Cafe in Waco has nailed the kind of welcoming neighborhood vibe where the staff remembers your name and greets you with genuine energy—perfect whether you're camping out with your laptop, bringing the kids for Saturday breakfast, or just stopping by with your pup. Their espresso drinks shine with creative seasonal offerings like cardamom vanilla lattes and white chocolate lattes, paired beautifully with house-made pastries like their beloved pumpkin bread and banana bread that keep people coming back week after week. Spacious, naturally lit, and genuinely dog-friendly, it's the type of place that feels like a local gem the moment you walk in.”

What a great little coffee shop! Easy to find for this out-of-towner, with plenty of parking. I got the white chocolate latte and a piece of pumpkin bread… Absolutely delicious!!! I couldn’t wait for a bite, as you can tell from the picture. I could go on with this review, but what you really need to do is just get down here and experience it. My coffee is getting cold. Have an awesome day!!!
From the kind staff, delicious food, and cute decor you can’t go wrong here. As someone who loves Merit coffee and dogs this place was calling my name. I’m not sure HOW they remember my name each time but it’s incredible. You can’t go wrong with what you order. Their dirty chai is nice and the breakfast sandwich is a personal favorite and I can’t help but order it each time I go. I have worked from here and taken meetings (with headphones) was completely fine. When the place fills up (and it does) it is a bee hive of sound and people watching. They fill up QUICK on Saturdays with the farmers market happening across the street but the line moves fast and there is always a churn of tables, inside and out (covered area).
This is one of the highlights of my week. I'm always greeted energetically - the ideal vibe for a coffee shop. The seating area is nice and offers outdoors which I really love. I appreciate the attention to detail, knowing my order and name when I come in. It's a small thing but makes a big impact.
Spacious cafe with plenty of seating, fast WiFi, and tons of natural lighting. I had the breakfast hash with scrambled eggs added to it alongside an iced cardamom vanilla latte (one of the current seasonal syrups). The iced cardamom vanilla latte was made with oat milk; it was alright nothing spectacular. Although the syrup was unique and not overly sweet. The breakfast hash with scrambled eggs added was decent and seasoned well from the chimichurri. I wish the onions were cooked a little bit longer or the first couple layers of an onion weren’t used as that’s what it tasted like — harder to chew/extra crunchy. Personally, the breakfast hash was elevated with the addition of Valentina hot sauce. Also something to note, definitely wish the cafe had other meat alternatives options like turkey bacon/sausage or chicken sausage as I don’t eat pork so my options from the menu was limited. However overall, great experience and would dine here again if I’m ever back in Waco.
This is our Saturday family breakfast spot. The kids love the baked goods especially the banana bread and the zucchini bread. The wife and I usually opt for the quiche and a two egg breakfast. Everything is wonderful and fresh. The service is outstanding. They really go above and beyond to make our kid’s day. They also do a daily lunch special as well as have a full offering of coffees and espressos. It’s a great lunch spot for friends, a date or a quick lunch meeting.
