Crema's Take
“Azzuro is a serene neighborhood spot in Waco where thoughtful espresso work meets genuine hospitality, with standout creations like their iced sea salt maple latte that justify the consistently stellar reviews. The space itself—quiet, cozy, and offering both indoor and outdoor seating—feels like a deliberate escape from the noise of everyday life, making it equally suited for a solo coffee meditation or catching up with visiting friends over pastries and light bites.”

A friend from Austin came to visit, and we chose this place for good coffee, friendly service, and a nice atmosphere. It was a great choice. We ordered an iced coffee, a cappuccino, and a cold brew. All of them were excellent. We also tried the blueberry muffin and a Nutella pastry(?) based on a recommendation. They were absolutely delicious. The blueberry muffin was the best I have ever had — crispy on the outside and perfectly moist on the inside. Everything was so good that we even ordered extra drinks and bread to go for the kids. We will definitely come back often.
Rosie took my order and she was very nice and accommodating. The atmosphere is very lovely with indoor and outdoor seating. I got the iced sea salt maple latte and it was DELICIOUS!! I will definitely be coming back!
What a great place for morning break or anytime. First time visit -stopped in for a birthday coffee. Emily was welcoming and so efficient. I ended up having a yummy ham and cheese croissant to go with my coffee. Then took home a couple of cranberry orange scones. Loved the surprise of getting two for one because it was after 1 o’clock. I will be back and I will be telling all my friends.
I ordered two matcha lattes from here, one having pumpkin in it. If you really like matcha, I would not come here for that. These were the clumpiest, hard-to-drink matcha lattes I’ve ever had (and I’ve tried a lot) I’m guessing the matcha powder wasn’t mixed properly or with the right temperature of water because I was drinking very large bitter clumps of it, which settled in the bottom of the drink and on the sides of the cup. I poured both of them out because it really wasn’t pleasant. The two pastries I had tasted good, and I will give them another chance and just come back for regular coffee. Again, if you like matcha this is not a place I would order it from
My first impression of the Azzuro Coffee shop was that it was quiet and cozy, and tucked away from the loud noises from traffic. There is outdoor seating provided which was nice. Inside the shop were a few sit alone corner chairs and a table for a more relaxed vibe and extended seating for a larger group of people. The menu has a various selection of hot and cold coffee(s) and a selection of teas, muffins, croissants and scones. Rosa, was very pleasant with her welcoming smile, conversation and knowledge of the items. Azzuro has earned a future visit for providing good service.
