Palms Café

This is a little quick grab and go place within the Omni Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa. We stayed for the week and this was my go to latte place. I ordered an oat milk latte and it was perfect-not too strong. They serve Joshua Tree coffee. The coconut chia pudding was also delicious. I was told the Palms cafe and other restaurants at this resort were recently renovated in the past year. Love that the Palms opens at 6 AM.

This guy diner has the ambiance and people. The service is excellence. The hood is comforting n good. It’s not Michelin five star restaurant but fun neighborly gathering for family n friends.

The cafe offers Stance Coffee. I ordered the almond milk latte. The default is only one shot so added a shot. I like to taste the espresso amidst the milk. But low and behold, first sip and I almost died. It is a very robust overly bold type espresso so the 2 shots was overkill. Maybe that’s why they do 1 shot standard. Oh man, had to add a little sugar which I never do. But even then I wouldn’t order it again. Fun to sit outside in the resort space and sip and read though. The people watching is fun to say the least.

This café is inside an hotel, you go in through the lobby, it's at the pool area, really pretty outdoor seating, they don't serve Pete's Coffee anymore :( , now it's 'Stance'. I had the tuna melt, couldn't finish it, I really like it.
