Crema's Take

Tucked inside a lush plant nursery in Phoenix, Caffio Espresso is a charming espresso-focused cart where the greenery is as much a draw as the expertly crafted drinks. Their baristas excel at creative signature beverages like lavender and pistachio coffees alongside traditional espresso drinks and specialty teas like Masala Chai Lattes, all made with genuine care and friendly conversation. It's the kind of hidden gem that feels like discovering a secret garden—perfect for lingering with a book, meeting a friend, or simply soaking in the botanical ambiance while sipping genuinely excellent coffee.

Cute coffee cart tucked away in an amazing plant store. Coffee was very good. Nice ambience to relax, read, or chat.

The day I visited Caffio Espresso, I was going to the Arizona Fall Fest. I had gone to the Novel ice cream truck while I was at the festival, and decided that since I was in the area, I would visit the shop as well. With how much time remained until Novel Ice Cream opened, I decided to find a nice coffee shop to grab some coffee and hang out at until the opening time for Novel got closer. As I was searching for coffee shops near Novel, Caffio Espresso came up, and based on the ratings, I decided to check it out. Upon reaching the front of the line, I was warmly greeted by the employees, including a gentleman who I presume was the owner. He asked me how my day was going, and when I asked for recommendations on seasonal menu items, he suggested the rustic maple latte, so that is what I ended up ordering. The rustic maple latte was rich and full of flavor. Some of the best coffee I have ever had. I also like that the coffee shop is located within an area where you can see various plants surrounding the area where you sit down and enjoy your coffee. The employees of that business were also friendly and helpful. I will gladly come back the next time I am in the area.

Tried the lavender and pistachio coffees — both were amazing. Smooth, flavorful, and super refreshing. Mark, the barista, was really friendly and easy to talk to, which made the visit even better. The spot itself is beautiful — lots of plants, cozy seating, and a chill garden vibe that feels tucked away from the city. Definitely a place you’ll want to come back to and hang out for a while.

You had me at plants, but locked us in with the spicy Masala Chai Latte and Americano. This is an espresso bar, so no batch brew, but everything else on the menu. The cafe is wildly cute and inside the plant nursery. It looked closed but definitely wasn't. The space is cool and green and when the soft mist was watering the area around me, I could almost imagine I was in the rainforest. Bruno, the Barista, was excellent. In addition to making a good drink, he took the time to chat about coffee and offer up suggestions on the area (which we ended up taking). Would return.

Beautiful place. So many healthy plants. Includes a green house, interesting pots and adorable patio. Delicious Mocha - all espresso coffees - hot or cold. Friendly barista. Tasty pastries. Great atmosphere. Wonderful room sprays, candles and incenses. Plant books, seed packets from native seeds. Plant hangers. A bit pricey, but worth the visit.
