Yumi's Coffee

Yumi’s Coffee is one of the most personal coffee experiences I’ve had in Phoenix. Yumi runs a simple ticket system that keeps everything organized while still making the whole interaction feel relaxed and intentional. I ordered a pour over and it was incredible, super smooth and full of flavor. You can tell she really cares about every cup she makes. If you appreciate thoughtful coffee and warm service, this place is a gem.

Very cute cafe serving high quality coffee and tea at an affordable price. The place is ran by only the owner and the experience was unique since she takes one customer at the time and maticoulisaly prepares the order from scratch. I have never been to Japan but I felt as if I was at a mom and pop cafe somewhere in Japan. 100% recommended.

Yumi… met her at the gym and being nosey I ask what she did for a living and told me she owes a coffee shop.. I went directly over ..: wow… Japanese coffee experience in Phoenix … amazing coffee skills and presentation… one-on-one experience.. do not rush the process. Take a ticket and sit and wait for Yumi to come and get you after the customer before… desert home made… pure pleasure …

This is a great coffee experience here in Phoenix! Yumi was was so nice and welcoming, my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our Kuromitsu Matcha and Miso Caramel lattes. As this is an intimate setting, there likely will be a wait for your number/session but it is well worth it!! We also left our name in her customer book for next time we visit. 🙂 Thank you!

Yumi’s coffee is a very special gem in Phoenix. This city is lucky to have such a delicious coffee and matcha shop. Yumi personally makes each order in front of the customer and likes to get to know her customers. It’s part of her service. There are some very fun magazines in the waiting area for waiting customers. First time I went, I got an iced matcha with whole milk no sweetener and it was perfect. Second time, I got the cold brew with sweet foam and it was so good! So happy to have Yumi’s coffee in Phx!
