Crema's Take

Snapdragon Tea is a whimsical escape in Albuquerque's Bricklight District that transforms a simple tea visit into a carefully curated experience, where every detail—from the eclectic decor to thoughtfully plated pastries and light fare—feels intentional and charming. Their themed tea parties are the real draw, celebrated for accommodating dietary preferences with creativity and care, while the relaxed, inclusive atmosphere makes it equally perfect for a leisurely afternoon solo or with family. It's the kind of place that leaves visitors enchanted, with regulars raving about both the exceptional vegetarian options (like their standout tempeh Reuben) and service that feels genuinely warm.

I had such a wonderful experience at Snapdragon. A very relaxed atmosphere felt magical and unique. Every little detail added to the charm and made it such a fun place to spend time. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the experience even better. You can really tell they care about their guests. The food and tea were absolutely delicious, and everything was presented beautifully. Overall, it was an amazing experience from start to finish. If you’re looking for a cozy, whimsical place to enjoy great tea and food, I highly recommend it. Five stars all the way around! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

A very eclectic and cute spot in the Bricklight District. I had been desperate to find a vegetarian Reuben sandwich in town and found the best one I’ve ever had at Snapdragon Tea with their Tempeh Reuben. Delicious, filling and the perfect balance of all the ingredients. I’ve also had two of their soups of the day- one was a mushroom base and the other a tomato and red pepper. Both very good. Give this place a try!

This is the second time I have been here first time I brought my daughter to a tea party. Everything I have tried has been absolutely divine seriously . Amazing service great tasting food and affordability. Additionally they are friendly and allowed the young girls who attended the party have a delightful time. Highly recommend. The kolaches are amazing as well as the teas and pastries. Will be coming back again and again!

One of the best themed tea parties I have ever had. They accommodated my vegetarian gluten-free diet with amazing deleciately layered foods. Their presentation was delightful, and it was very affordable. You get to decorate your own cookie with frosting and color cutout dragons, too- so much fun. Highly recommended.

A hidden gem of the Bricklight district. Our city could definitely benefit from more establishments like this one that has a clear vision and promotes inclusivity while bringing unique experiences to the table. Overall good first impression but some things could be improved. First, we weren’t greeted or welcomed upon walking in. The person at the counter looked at us and then began talking to a regular customer at the counter. We stood there awkwardly and even when they were done we weren’t spoken to or offered help. Luckily, there were some menus on the counter to look at and the other employee working eventually came to the counter and was very friendly and helpful- otherwise, we probably would have left. We ordered a matcha latte with oat milk and lavender syrup (delicious) and a burque fog (sadly, not good at all-very little flavor). We also got two kolaches. I don’t know anywhere else in town that offers kolaches and they were so good! These were of the savory variety-a sausage and egg one and a chicken pesto one. Soft bread and delicious filling! The interior is cozy and eclectic without being cluttered. I would definitely come back for a themed tea party (unicorns and fairy themed coming up?! Whaaaat!).
